The Underdark is a dangerous place in Baldur’s Gate 3 — the fauna itself is out to kill you, and if you want to save the Mushroom Picker and earn a big reward (eventually) you’ll need to carefully navigate the field of green glowing mushrooms. There’s more than just a person in the field. There’s also a valuable treasure that will pay dividends once you reach Act 3. Learn where to find the “Save The Mushroom Picker‘ quest and how to fully complete it for maximum rewards.

In the Underdark, you can encounter a quest called ‘Find the Mushroom Picker‘ by approaching a green grove of mushrooms from the Dread Hollow in the west of the Underdark. The area is west of the Myconid Colony. If you enter the Myconid Colony, talk to the vendor Derryth Bonecloak near the entrance to unlock this quest.
If you’re carrying a Scroll of Misty Step while talking to Bonecloak, you can throw it to him. You can purchase one from the Shattered Sanctum vendor Roah Moonglow. Or you can find a Misty Step Scroll in the doctor’s cellar in the Blighted Village.
If you throw a Scroll of Misty Step to him now, you can get to his backpack easier. The backpack has x2 Scrolls of Misty Step and a Scroll of Feather Fall. Use Turn-Based Mode to sprint or jump to the backpack and loot it.
For saving Bonecloak, ask him for a reward to get a Scroll of Invisibility. Next, return to the Myconid Colony and talk to Derryth. She’ll reveal that she wants Noblestalk Mushrooms — a valuable type of Mushroom.
Give Derryth Bonecloak a Noblestalk Mushroom and she’ll reward you back in Baldur’s Gate. You’ll need to reach Act 3 and visit her shop (sharing her surname) to claim your prize.

Bethesda is known for delivering some truly remarkable RPGs. While known for The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, their next game is actually a brand new IP. Starfield has recently been in so many headlines as we approach its release date. But that hasn’t stopped some fans from wondering what is around the corner after Starfield. We know that Bethesda is bringing out the next The Elder Scrolls video game. However, details about what The Elder Scrolls 6 will bring are being kept secret.
The Elder Scrolls 6 might have been announced a little early, and its director wants it to be the "ultimate fantasy-world simulator."
Magic Items are essential in Baldur’s Gate 3. Because levels are so rare in the 70+ hour campaign, you’ll almost never find a straight-up upgrade. There are dozens and dozens of Magic Items you’ll find while scouring every inch of the world map, and these are the Magic Items we think you absolutely must get.
I finally jumped into Baldur's Gate 3 yesterday and it's kick-started my desire to play through the campaign with multiple characters. The game feels like it's missing one perspective though - what if I don't want to remove the mind flayer parasite? What if I want it to take over from the get-go and start absolute chaos?
Larian Studios has rolled back the latest Baldur's Gate 3patch for causing crashes, but recent saves have been made temporarily unplayable.
Constant saving in Baldur's Gate 3may be the reason you're running out of space on your PC drive.
Baldur's Gate 3 tracks so many decisions and items that, last week, Larian had to remove a size cap on save files to keep completionists from breaking them. Even if you aren't filling up save files by picking up every skull and tin plate you encounter, though, you might be filling up your C: drive by shamelessly save scumming like me.
You just might encounter a couple of familiar faces while investigating.
When you arrive at Grymforge, a majority of the residents there are likely not too happy to have you arrive in Baldur’s Gate 3. These are all True Souls, the ones working with the Absolute Cult, and they’re in a crisis: their leader has recently fallen in a cavern and is stuck behind a pile of rocks.
You can discover the creators of the Steel Watch guards f you explore the Steel Watch Foundry during your Baldur’s Gate 3 playthrough. There, you’ll meet Gondian Zanner Toobin, who is, along with the other Gondians, being held against his will to create the Steel Watch for Gortash.
There are few gaming experiences as chaotic and memorable as sitting down in person with a group of pals to play a tabletop role-playing game. Some video games have tried to capture this in digital form, with limited success. But Baldur’s Gate 3 conveys the highs and lows of a tabletop co-op campaign thanks to clever systems, a dense world, and multiple avenues to pursue every quest. This makes Baldur’s Gate 3 co-op flexible and daring in a way I haven’t seen before — but it’s also a campaign that constantly runs the risk of descending into pure chaos.
