One hardcore God of War fan has taken their fandom for the franchise to a different level by creating protagonist Kratos as a custom fighter in EA Sports UFC 3. The man they call the Ghost of Sparta is such a popular and iconic video game character that many fans have tried to add Kratos to as many different games as possible, and perhaps some developers have also taken notice, seemingly enabling customization features to create him.

One of the biggest draws of the Road House reimagining is the acting debut of MMA fighter and former UFC champion Conor McGregor. However, as he tells Total Film in our new issue, which features Road House on the cover, this is by no means the first film offer he's received. 

EA Sports has added five fighters, including high-ranked bantamweight Mayra Bueno and undefeated Irish welterweight Ian Machado Garry, to the UFC 5 lineup. This is the latest addition to a constantly evolving roster that also includes boxing legends such as Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali fighting alongside current UFC stars.

The complex controls of this incredibly realistic game can make it hard to perform the moves that lead to a resounding K.O. You'll have to explore the basic mechanics of striking and the subtle systems behind stamina and damage.

A powerful move you can perform in is a Clinch, a technique that sees you grab onto your opponent as you do different attacks for a Submission. This mechanic may be confusing at times, but with alternate positions, you can switch between them and have new control settings. The right Clinch could cause your opponent to yield if you learn the right actions for your fighter.

I was recently given a virtual preview of EA Sports UFC 5, and it looks to represent a major step forward for the underrated mixed martial arts series.
