The star of the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet is Ogerpon. This totally new Legendary Pokemon is exclusive to the Kitakami Region and comes equipped with a set of masks you can use to swap forms between battles, giving your Ogerpon a degree of customization. You’ll find three masks as you complete the main story and be forced to battle Ogerpon in all of its forms to finally capture it. So, much like how Final Fantasy XVI was released as completely optimized for the PlayStation 5, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be another game to test the experience PlayStation 5 consoles could deliver for players. Today, we’re finding out that one developer who worked on the game at Insomniac Games is crediting the PlayStation 5 to provide bigger and better experiences. 

Starfield has been out for little more than a week, yet there are already more mods than you could shake a spaceship at. One of the newest additions to the ever-growing modding community is this—the Inner Monologue mod by Somnia. 

How does Insomniac do it?

There was plenty to discuss regarding yesterday’s Sony State of Play event. Numerous trailers were dropped about various games coming out this year and next, with one of the biggest presentations going to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The game got two trailers talking about the various suits you can wear or get via pre-orders and the new ways to enjoy New York City. Regarding the latter, the team at Insomniac Games went into significant detail about how you could enjoy New York like never before, play as either Spider-Man in the open world and more! But a subtler detail was tucked away that only some players noticed later.

One of the things that makes Final Fantasy VII Rebirth interesting in the eyes of fans is that the game is building off of what the original “Remake” title did in 2020. We mean they’re not simply remaking the game graphically from top to bottom. Instead, they’re expanding everything that happens in the story and fleshing out moments and characters so that everything feels more robust and meaningful. The trick is that they’re doing this while also changing key moments in the key and rewriting the fates of known characters and their deaths. That “altering” will continue in the sequel.

It’s almost time for Spider-Man 2, and it’s in that sentiment that Insomniac Games has revealed a brand new look at the game in today’s PlayStation State of Play. Another Code: Two Memories, or Trace Memory as it's known in North America, is a Nintendo DS game that launched on the handheld device way back in 2005. Its sequel, Another Code: R – Journey Into Lost Memories, launched on the Wii in 2009, but it never came to North America. Now, players can experience both games when Another Code: Recollection hits Switch in January. 

The Sinnoh Starter Pokemon — Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup can be acquired in the new Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. These returning Pokemon aren’t actually in the Kitakami Pokedex, so acquiring them takes a special optional task. To get your hands on these Pokemon Starters from the older generation, you can follow the steps below. Alternatively, you can also transfer these Pokemon if you have them in your Pokemon HOME account.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R, a remake of the second game in the Star Ocean franchise, has received a free demo available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. Earlier this week, pizza chef Denis Fisher turned his breakfast into Chunks—an unappetising, but efficient food option from Starfield. Chunks are, as you might assume, chunks of food—processed cubes that're about as appealing as they are inevitable in our eventually tech-swarmed world.

To say that Starfield is huge is an understatement. There are over a thousand planets and moons to explore, which means traveling to several solar systems. More of the worlds you’ll discover are barren, though they have useful resources to help you craft. A few rare planets will hold life, and some will even be hospitable enough for humans to settle permanently.

Legendary weapons aren’t the only guns that matter in Starfield. Players have discovered two Rare pistols that might be the best weapons in the game — not only are they incredibly powerful, they’re also available to collect very early in the story. The two guns are the Mutineer and the Radburn. Even if you’ve searched every corner of the galaxy, you can easily miss these two weapons. Below we’ll explain where to find them and why they really are as powerful as people say.

Purchase your perfect Starfield home to customize it with decorations or useful functions like workbenches and storage. Starfield gives you access to multiple player homes you can purchase through vendors or that you can earn by completing quests. You can even build your own home, but to do that, you’ll need to learn how to construct outposts. That’s a lot of work. If you want to skip building, you can get a home instantly and start sleeping with these different player home locations. Every major settlement has at least two homes you can unlock. Here’s where to find them all.

The competition to make the best smartphone camera is a fierce one. You may know the Fast Travel team from our long history of single-player VR experiences like Cities: VR and the upcoming Vampire: The Masquerade – Justice, but Mannequin will be our first ever in-house multiplayer title, allowing up to 5 players to enjoy suspense, social deduction and fast, sudden action.

Bad news, The Division fans. Ubisoft has pushed the launch of The Division Resurgence into next year, with the App Store listing now stating a March 31 release date.

Even when you’re dealing with some of the best developers and publishers in the gaming space, they’re not immune to having things go wrong. After all, even when making a “simple” video game, they can’t test for everything, and they can’t plan for certain reactions from fans based on what they see and experience. It's only been a week since Starfield fully released, but some players have experienced enough to share their tips for others just getting started in the RPG.

First noticed by user WeirdConcern4666 on the Starfield subreddit, it's actually pretty easy to dip out of your ship and do a spacewalk thanks to two quick Starfield console commands. There's not much to do out there in the void at the moment, but doing a cheeky extravehicular activity (EVA) lends itself to some nice screenshots, and I'm excited for the modding potential here.

Your spaceship doesn’t have infinite inventory space in Starfield — to get more space in your ship, you’ll need to upgrade the Cargo Hold capacity by adding more cargo nodes through the Ship Builder. This expands your total cargo and allows you to haul more stuff, but there’s another way you can easily store infinite items in your ship. And no, it doesn’t involve dumping items all over the ground. Well, it does partially.

There’s only one drug in Starfield and that’s Aurora. This powerful narcotic slows time in combat, turning you into a Max Payne and allowing your explorer to vaporize enemies with uncanny speed. Aurora is one of the best stims in the game, and it can only be found in Neon. Unfortunately, the security on Neon won’t let you leave with these stims. You’ll have to find another way to get drugs outside the city — and that can be done through crafting.

This holiday season, Hellboy is taking a trip to Iceland to meet one of the island nation's most eccentric and interesting mythical figures, the Yule Cat. The story will take place in 2023's aptly named Hellboy Winter Special: The Yule Cat, which carries on Dark Horse Comics' tradition of releasing a new Hellboy special every holiday season.

The wait for Starfield to arrive has been long and arduous. The game by Bethesda was announced years ago, with the note that it wouldn’t be out for some time. Then, every time it seemed to be getting close to release, Bethesda would delay it again, including delaying it earlier this year. But, at last, it has arrived, and if you look at the Metacritic reviews for the title, you’ll see that it’s a respected title with a good score. These reviews undoubtedly influenced many gamers, as the title had the biggest launch in company history. However, that also means there are more opinions out there to hear.

A Starfield player has found a savvy way of earning XP that lets you gain 100 levels in just five hours.

Aditya L1 was launched on September 2, 2023, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) used the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C57 rocket) for the launch, which carried seven payloads onboard that will be used to study the Sun's environment. ISRO reported that the spacecraft has successfully completed its third manoeuvre and it will go through a total of five phases till it moves towards the Lagrange point 1 (L1). The latest Aditya-L1 update is that ISRO is targeting September 15 as the next date to effect another manoeuvre.

In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.
