Back when we first saw Kiryu's return in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's first sneak peek, a lot of fans were taken aback by how different his look is compared to previous games. Rocking a new grey hair style, he was almost unrecognisable from even his biref appearance in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. We knew there had to be some reason behind it, but it turns out that it's down to the Dragon of Dojima's battle with cancer.

Even though Shane Carruth’s 2004 micro-indie Primer, which was made on a $7,000 budget and looks it, found an equally micro fandom, it didn’t seem primed to change the world of cinema. It’s had its own small-scale followers, though: The idea of a tinkerer or two cobbling together a time-travel device in a garage, basement, or back room is a fascinating premise, mostly because it puts all the ethical and scientific problems of time travel into the hands of a few people with no oversight, following no rules but their own.
According to leaked documents, Microsoft are/were remastering Oblivion and Fallout 3. This is boring. The past decade of innumerable remasters has been boring enough, but remastering these two games is particularly boring. When even bother when all Bethesda have made since Oblivion is Oblivion remakes with added spacesuits or yelling? Boring. But while I think the torrent of remasters is a miserable sign of big publishers just giving up, if they're going to do it anyway: why not Morrowind?
Following the conclusion of the High Price to Pay mission in Starfield, everyone at Constellation needs to regroup and rethink their strategy. One of the first things the team agrees on is that the Lodge and the Eye are no longer safe and place the Armillary back with you, and you have to choose where to hide it.

As you’d expect from v4.1, there’ll be updates to new Hydro city Fontaine, which will expand upwards to the Fortress of Meropide. It’s there the Archon Quest will continue, as the Traveller continues their search for Childe.
Starfield is one of this year’s biggest RPG game releases yet, and Bethesda’s most successful launch overall. The interstellar experience places you in the shoes of a solid space explorer capable of cross-galaxy travel. With all great Bethesda games comes the possibility of exploits or glitches, and Starfield is no exception. Since its recent release, the game’s fans have managed to find easy ways to make quick credits. While not necessarily as honest as selling old gear to vendors, this exploit pays off very well.
In the neverending pursuit to build wacky Starfield ships, one player has created an homage to Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater’s famous long ladder scene. In simpler terms, this Starfield player has an excessively long set of ladders in their ship. Come look.
With around 1000 explorable planets on offer, Starfield is positively bursting with new environments to explore. But some players think they’ve discovered something more familiar: an homage to a classic Halo planet. Kinda.

Payday 3 is one of the most highly anticipated FPS games, and it’ll be here soon. Ahead of its upcoming launch, Starbreeze Studios has been revealing more information about what players can expect to see in-game. Now, they’ve revealed what we can expect to not see. In an interesting last-minute change, the developer has announced that Payday 3 will no longer be releasing with Denuvo, a controversial anti-cheat and anti-tampering system.
There are many imposing forms a boss can take, but I don’t know I’d count a bucket among them. And yet, that’s what Chrono Trigger does. It puts a bucket in front of you and asks if you think you can beat it. It’s a question that’s lingered every minute since.
The humanoid shmear, Xûr, is now live in Destiny 2 for the weekend until next week's reset. If you're looking to get you some shiny new Exotic armor or weapons for your Guardian, look no further.

The PlayStation 5 is just a few years old now, and after the pandemic, some development studios are just now getting the hang of things for the console. Still, we’ve seen quite a few games released that offer both a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 version. But with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 release, we’re only seeing a launch on the PlayStation 5. So, much like how Final Fantasy XVI was released as completely optimized for the PlayStation 5, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be another game to test the experience PlayStation 5 consoles could deliver for players. Today, we’re finding out that one developer who worked on the game at Insomniac Games is crediting the PlayStation 5 to provide bigger and better experiences.
Starfield has been out for little more than a week, yet there are already more mods than you could shake a spaceship at. One of the newest additions to the ever-growing modding community is this—the Inner Monologue mod by Somnia.
How does Insomniac do it?
There was plenty to discuss regarding yesterday’s Sony State of Play event. Numerous trailers were dropped about various games coming out this year and next, with one of the biggest presentations going to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The game got two trailers talking about the various suits you can wear or get via pre-orders and the new ways to enjoy New York City. Regarding the latter, the team at Insomniac Games went into significant detail about how you could enjoy New York like never before, play as either Spider-Man in the open world and more! But a subtler detail was tucked away that only some players noticed later.
One of the things that makes Final Fantasy VII Rebirth interesting in the eyes of fans is that the game is building off of what the original “Remake” title did in 2020. We mean they’re not simply remaking the game graphically from top to bottom. Instead, they’re expanding everything that happens in the story and fleshing out moments and characters so that everything feels more robust and meaningful. The trick is that they’re doing this while also changing key moments in the key and rewriting the fates of known characters and their deaths. That “altering” will continue in the sequel.

A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth has confirmed that a popular fan theory is correct, relating to the ending of FF7 Remake and the new content in the Intergrade update. Fans have been left with more questions than answers, however, especially as it relates to the future of the game.
While I love Spider-Man just as much as the next guy, I felt underwhelmed by Marvel’s Spider-Man 1. However, after watching the latest PlayStation State of Play, I’m impressed and excited to experience Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks to add a lot of Batman Arkham City features into the game and utilize the power of the PlayStation 5 which I think will improve it greatly. Here are the six things I think will make Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 even better than Marvel’s Spider-Man 1.
It’s almost time for Spider-Man 2, and it’s in that sentiment that Insomniac Games has revealed a brand new look at the game in today’s PlayStation State of Play. In this first look at how the sequel aims to evolve the open world concept, senior director Bryan Intihar showed off the game’s world, which has effectively doubled in size when you consider the inclusion of both Brooklyn and Queens.
We got another glimpse into Marvel's Spider-Man 2 today, including insight on new suits, new tech, and new areas of the city.
Bloodmoon Ursaluna is a powerful new form of Ursaluna that’s exclusive to the Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Ursaluna is the second evolution of Teddiursa, a cute bear Pokemon that has only previously appeared in the distant past, only available to catch in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The frightening new form is especially hard to find in the Kitakami Region as his hidden side-quest only becomes available after completing a long (and easy-to-miss) challenge. If you want to catch one of the most impressive new forms in the Teal Mask expansion, here’s how to do it.

Now, players can experience both games when Another Code: Recollection hits Switch in January.

Earlier this week, pizza chef Denis Fisher turned his breakfast into Chunks—an unappetising, but efficient food option from Starfield. Chunks are, as you might assume, chunks of food—processed cubes that're about as appealing as they are inevitable in our eventually tech-swarmed world.
To say that Starfield is huge is an understatement. There are over a thousand planets and moons to explore, which means traveling to several solar systems. More of the worlds you’ll discover are barren, though they have useful resources to help you craft. A few rare planets will hold life, and some will even be hospitable enough for humans to settle permanently.
Legendary weapons aren’t the only guns that matter in Starfield. Players have discovered two Rare pistols that might be the best weapons in the game — not only are they incredibly powerful, they’re also available to collect very early in the story. The two guns are the Mutineer and the Radburn. Even if you’ve searched every corner of the galaxy, you can easily miss these two weapons. Below we’ll explain where to find them and why they really are as powerful as people say.
Purchase your perfect Starfield home to customize it with decorations or useful functions like workbenches and storage. Starfield gives you access to multiple player homes you can purchase through vendors or that you can earn by completing quests. You can even build your own home, but to do that, you’ll need to learn how to construct outposts. That’s a lot of work. If you want to skip building, you can get a home instantly and start sleeping with these different player home locations. Every major settlement has at least two homes you can unlock. Here’s where to find them all.

Apple, Google, and Samsung typically jostle amongst one another for the top spot, though you can't count out the efforts of phone makers such as Honor, OnePlus, and Oppo. Saw X has released a shot-for-shot remake of Nicole Kidman's iconic AMC ad.
As you probably know by now, Starfield sends you on beautiful, zero-gravity voyages across the galaxy, but there are some limitations. You can’t seamlessly travel from planet to planet as you would in No Man’s Sky,and you can’t glide through space without a ship like in Outer Wilds — until now.
The galaxy far, far away has a number of exciting projects in the works, and one of them is Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy's upcoming Star Wars movie.
The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet was released roughly a year after the launch of the base game, but does that mean you need to have finished the story first, or can you jump into the new content from a fresh save? The reason could be an issue due to the levels of the enemy trainers and Wild Pokemon, as no amount of wanting to be the very best like no one ever was is going to help your level 5 Quaxly when it faces a level 60 Chansey.
Feebas is one of the many returning Pokemon you can encounter in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s The Teal Mask DLC. You’ll have a chance to track it down as you explore the new region, Kitakami. When you find it, you’ll have a chance to register it to your Pokedex, one step closer to filling out the rest of the Kitakami Pokedex.

Bloodmoon Ursaluna is the newest Eldrich horror to come out of the Pokemon franchise, and its appearance is rather mysterious. Does this Pokemon actually exist, or is it another myth like Mew hiding under the Vermillion City truck?

Bad news, The Division fans. Ubisoft has pushed the launch of The Division Resurgence into next year, with the App Store listing now stating a March 31 release date.
Even when you’re dealing with some of the best developers and publishers in the gaming space, they’re not immune to having things go wrong. After all, even when making a “simple” video game, they can’t test for everything, and they can’t plan for certain reactions from fans based on what they see and experience. When it comes to Bethesda, they’re known for creating sprawling landscapes for gamers to travel across, quests that can pop up from nowhere, and very tactical combat. However, as its newest game, Starfield, reinforces, they seem to have a problem with getting certain accents to sound accurate.
The Teal Mask is the first of two expansions coming to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and takes place immediately after the main story. As you’re already meant to be a pro Trainer by the time you tackle the Teal Mask DLC, the level of your Pokemon matters. What’s the Recommended Level to Play Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC The Teal Mask ? This is a tricky question to answer, and let me explain why.
Do you think Starfield takes place in the same Earth as Fallout? Do you think it should have been officially so? As it turns out, this was a key decision in Starfield’s development.
The developer behind Sea of Stars will focus on "balance" as the theme of its third game.
In Starfield you’ll earn a spaceship and have all of space to explore. The world is so vast, you can easily miss some of the early missions that are actually critically important to start first — so we’re going to list 10 quests we think you’ll want to track down ASAP.
Also known as Childe, Tartaglia was the first Fatui Harbinger introduced in Genshin Impact. Taking up somewhat permanent residency in Liyue, Tartaglia toes the line between friend and foe with the Traveler. For the most part, he tends to be a friend.
The galaxy is surprisingly sparse in Starfield, the new Bethesda action-RPG that dumps you into an unbelievably massive universe. For such a big place, actual dungeons can be difficult to find. There aren’t many dens of iniquity to pillage that are totally unique. There are hundreds of randomly generated outposts, but these only give randomly generated rewards. If you’re hungry for a free ship to steal and loads of contraband, then check out the full guide below. Here’s where to find the Vulture’s Roost.
So you’ve made your way out into the Starfield and embarked on a journey to discover the secrets of the known universe. But what happens at the end of Bethesda’s latest RPG?
We review Hamlet: The Village Building Game from Mighty Boards. In Hamlet, players are building out a communal village with the hope of scoring the most points.
It's only been a week since Starfield fully released, but some players have experienced enough to share their tips for others just getting started in the RPG.
First noticed by user WeirdConcern4666 on the Starfield subreddit, it's actually pretty easy to dip out of your ship and do a spacewalk thanks to two quick Starfield console commands. There's not much to do out there in the void at the moment, but doing a cheeky extravehicular activity (EVA) lends itself to some nice screenshots, and I'm excited for the modding potential here.
Your spaceship doesn’t have infinite inventory space in Starfield — to get more space in your ship, you’ll need to upgrade the Cargo Hold capacity by adding more cargo nodes through the Ship Builder. This expands your total cargo and allows you to haul more stuff, but there’s another way you can easily store infinite items in your ship. And no, it doesn’t involve dumping items all over the ground. Well, it does partially.
There’s only one drug in Starfield and that’s Aurora. This powerful narcotic slows time in combat, turning you into a Max Payne and allowing your explorer to vaporize enemies with uncanny speed. Aurora is one of the best stims in the game, and it can only be found in Neon. Unfortunately, the security on Neon won’t let you leave with these stims. You’ll have to find another way to get drugs outside the city — and that can be done through crafting.
This holiday season, Hellboy is taking a trip to Iceland to meet one of the island nation's most eccentric and interesting mythical figures, the Yule Cat. The story will take place in 2023's aptly named Hellboy Winter Special: The Yule Cat, which carries on Dark Horse Comics' tradition of releasing a new Hellboy special every holiday season.
The wait for Starfield to arrive has been long and arduous. The game by Bethesda was announced years ago, with the note that it wouldn’t be out for some time. Then, every time it seemed to be getting close to release, Bethesda would delay it again, including delaying it earlier this year. But, at last, it has arrived, and if you look at the Metacritic reviews for the title, you’ll see that it’s a respected title with a good score. These reviews undoubtedly influenced many gamers, as the title had the biggest launch in company history. However, that also means there are more opinions out there to hear.
A Starfield player has found a savvy way of earning XP that lets you gain 100 levels in just five hours.
Aditya L1 was launched on September 2, 2023, from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) used the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C57 rocket) for the launch, which carried seven payloads onboard that will be used to study the Sun's environment. ISRO reported that the spacecraft has successfully completed its third manoeuvre and it will go through a total of five phases till it moves towards the Lagrange point 1 (L1). The latest Aditya-L1 update is that ISRO is targeting September 15 as the next date to effect another manoeuvre.
In an interview with Famitsu, Starfield lead and Bethesda frontman Todd Howard stated that the game's mod support «will be available next year» (obtained via machine translation), which likely refers to Starfield's equivalent to the Creation Kit modding tools for Skyrim and Fallout 4.
It often feels as if anime and video games are inextricably linked. I feel as if — in many , but maybe not all cases — the Venn diagram of anime fans to gamers is a perfect circle.
