You might assume that Indika will be dour, given that it's a story-driven game about a nun in a grey, cold, alternative Russia. Then you watch its trailers and find surrealist imagery, genre-hopping, and a bleak sense of humour are part of its arsenal, and suddenly it seems, to me, irresistible.

After a delay from its originally planned release alongside the PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG) version, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of third-person story-driven game INDIKA will launch on May 17, publisher 11 bit studios and developer Odd Meter announced.

Developer Starward Industries has released a new update for its narrative adventure game The Invincible. The update, dubbed the Voyager update, has a new trailer that you can check out below. Among the features of the Voyager update are the addition of dynamic camera views for when the player is riding the rover, allowing players to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.

Frostpunk 2 is set to launch on July 25th, 11 bit Studios announced via today’s Xbox showcase. The upcoming sequel to the survival title will release first on PC and will be a day one Game Pass release.

At yesterday’s Xbox Partner Preview, in addition to showcasing new gameplay for The Alters, 11 bit studios also revealed a new trailer for Frostpunk and confirmed a July launch date for the highly anticipated city building survival sequel’s PC version.

Xbox Game Pass has confirmed another day-one game for 2024 in the form of The Alters. The next title from award-winning developer 11 Bit Studios is still without an official release date, although the Polish company committed to bringing it to PC, consoles, and Xbox Game Pass sometime this year.

Titled Creatures Of Ava, it's a fantasy game about saving Pokémon-like creatures, as opposed to, well, imprisoning them and using them for labour (Palworld, I'm looking at you).

During the latest Xbox Partner Preview, 11 bit Studios released a new trailer for The Alters, outlining its gameplay and story. As Jan Dolski, players find themselves stranded on a planet with a burning sun and must survive at all costs to return home.

The Thaumaturge, the detective CRPG blending together eastern-European fantasy, alt-history Warsaw and even a bit of Pokémon (or Persona, if you prefer), has been pushed back from its planned release date next week to the start of March. With development said to be finished, creators Fool’s Theory say that it’s simply to let the game breathe a bit easier.

The Thaumaturge will now launch slightly later than planned, on 4th March, despite work on the game being complete.

As the Steward of the post-apocalyptic city-state of New London, Frostpunk 2 sees players lead their city into a hopefully brighter future. However, not everyone agrees on what that future looks like.

With such a great game as its predecessor, many questions arise. Will it leave up to the hype? Can it surpass the original game? Will Frostpunk 2 be available on Game Pass? Let’s talk about that last one.
