Frostpunk 2 Beta Receives Accolades Trailer Highlighting Positive Impressions

Bandai Namco’s SAND LAND, developed by ILCA of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl fame, is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and PC. 11 bit studios kicked off its beta for its post-apocalyptic city-builder, Frostpunk 2, this week for those who have pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition of the game. The beta runs through April 22.

11 bit Studios’ Frostpunk celebrates its sixth anniversary, with the developer announcing over five million copies sold on all platforms. It first launched in 2018 for PC before coming to PS4 and Xbox One in 2019 and MacOS in 2021.

With Destiny 2: The Final Shape, players will tackle familiar foes inside the Pale Heart of the Traveler en route to fighting The Witness. However, they also have to tackle the Dread, a race of Rhulk-like beings loyal to the latter. Check out the brief trailer below, which highlights two types of Dread: the Harbinger and the Weaver.
