The Outlast Trials hits 1.0 release with new ending, single player tweaks and Toy Factory map

The Pokemon-style RPG Cassette Beasts is getting a major new update, adding online multiplayer and a host of other interesting features later this year. UK-based developer Bytten Studio and prolific indie publisher Raw Fury released Cassette Beasts on Windows and Linux computers last April, with a wider launch on Xbox systems and the Nintendo Switch the following month. Just like Pokemon, Cassette Beasts tasks players with collecting different elementally empowered creatures, although these monsters are stored within old-fashioned audio cassette tapes and summoned using a handheld cassette player.

One of my favourite 'jokes'to do is parody Raymond Chandler, i.e. I shout "She had legs all the way up to her thighs!" and then laugh at myself. Stig Asmussen, the game director of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, as well as God of War 3, has announced the new studio he formed after leaving Respawn and EA last year. It’s called Giant Skull, and his new team aims to create a new, premium, AAA narrative-driven single-player third-person action-adventure game.

After releasing in open beta in 2022, MultiVersus was available for players to dive into for nearly a year, but after going offline in June the following year, the game went almost entirely MIA. The free-to-play Smash Bros.-inspired fighter certainly drew some criticism due to its server issues, aggressive monetiztion, and lackluster progression (among other things), but it was also massively popular, and soon, it’ll be making its return to the limelight.

With mechs finally available for players to pilot, Helldivers 2 fans are already disappointed by the underwhelming launch of the EXO-45 exosuits within the game. The newest release from Arrowhead Game Studios has already seen massive success within just a month of its release, selling millions of units across its PC and PS5 versions. Arrowhead would report Helldivers 2 had sold 3 million units less than three weeks following its debut, becoming one of Steam's best-selling games.
