Templar Retribution Paladin Review
The Templar Paladin Hero Talent tree focuses mainly around a new Holy Power spender,, and the s it summons. Along with a whole slew of talents that buff these effects, there's a couple of utility choices and some more general ability buffs to cover too.
Hammer Time
is a new spender that has a pretty specific casting restriction — it's only available for 12s after you cast Wake of Ashes, replacing it as an ability. It's not clear whether this only lets you cast once before the ability reverts to Wake of Ashes or as many times as you can fit in, but my expectation would be that it's just once due to how other talents work with it. It's noteworthy that the ability costs 5 Holy Power too, which is a bit unusual. Previous non-standard spender costs have not been very fun to play with, but it might work out alright to have an ability that spends more Holy Power during cooldowns, especially since Wake of Ashes already generates 3 itself.
s are triggered by a few different talents here: casts, the buff it applies, and spender casts due to. They hit a random target, but will also do some AoE damage if they crit. is the capstone in the tree, which stacks up as procs, to eventually provide an extra free. This seems a little underwhelming for a capstone ability to me, but it'll depend on how often you get the free
