PS5 Exclusive Stellar Blade Will Feature a Trio of Graphics Options | Push Square

Sony accidentally released a demo yesterday for Nikke: Goddess of Victory developer Shift Up’s hotly anticipated console debut, PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade. While the platform holder has since revoked access to the playable teaser, which was evidently pushed out prematurely, there is enough footage going around to get a taste of protagonist Eve’s outfits.

PlayStation Japan, as you’ll already know, loves a good montage trailer. And this latest clip – which has a bit of a road trip vibe to it – is a bit of a banger, spotlighting upcoming console exclusives like Rise of the Ronin and Stellar Blade. There’s also space to feature titles like Helldivers 2, Silent Hill 2, Unicorn Overlord, Sand Land, and more.

Pre-orders for physical copies of the PS5’s upcoming Stellar Blade have opened in South Korea, and the goodies are stunning. As spotted by a Shift Up fan account, buyers can choose between a vinyl soundtrack or a themed USB stick, with the former sporting some particularly fetching artwork. In fact, we’re not sure why this isn’t the box art, because it looks absolutely incredible.

When we interviewed Korean developer Shift Up recently, it emphasised the point that Stellar Blade’s selection of 30 costumes would all be included in-game at launch, with no microtransactions or additional purchases necessary. However, speaking with Game Informer, director Hyung-Tae Kim has hinted more outfits could be added post-release.
