After failing to close a $2 billion deal with Saudia Arabia’s Savvy Games Group, in June of last year, Embracer Group announced that it would be shuttering studios, cutting jobs, and cancelling games as part of a significant internal restructuring program in order to get its finances back into shape. That restructuring program is now finally over, with Gearbox Entertainment’s sale to Take-Two Interactive for $460 million seemingly being the final major step of that process.

The upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive action game Stellar Blade will be missing a photo mode when it launches on April 26. Stellar Blade, developed by Shift Up and published by Sony, has been generating quite a bit of buzz lately. There's been a great deal of discussion about the game's main character, and beyond that, many have come away impressed with the game's over-the-top action. Many PS5 gamers are looking forward to Stellar Blade's release later this month, but luckily, they don't have to wait that long to play it.

Shift Up’s demo for Stellar Blade, its upcoming hack-and-slash action RPG, is now available for PS5 players after accidentally going live earlier this month. Featuring the opening section, it sees players controlling Eve as she battles the Naytiba. The demo is roughly an hour long and outlines the basics of combat while featuring the first boss fight.

Shift Up and Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed that a free demo for its upcoming sci-fi action game Stellar Blade will launch this Friday, March 29.

Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been revealed as the official title of the superhero game Uncharted creator Amy Hennig is making at Skydance New Media. It's slated to release next year, and stars Captain America and Black Panther during World War II. A trailer was revealed during a GDC livestream, which you can catch above.

Developer Bunnyhug has confirmed its slice-of-life fishing RPG Moonglow Bay will finally be making its way to PS5, PS4 next month. It was first released for Xbox consoles and PC in October 2021, but will now launch for Sony consoles two and a half years later on 11th April 2024. Check out the announcement trailer above.

The heavily rumoured PS5 Pro will feature a GPU (graphics processing unit) up to three times faster than the PS5 model currently available, it's been claimed. Newfangled Games will unfold an innovative new experience on PS5 and PS4 from 21st May, when Paper Trail makes its home console debut. The unique puzzler sees you manipulating paper in order to navigate its watercolour world, so you may need to fold a page to create a new path for protagonist Paige to walk on, for example. Looks like Microsoft’s decision to port live service Xbox exclusive Sea of Thieves to PS5 is unlikely to land the company in choppy waters, as the title is currently making a charge on the PS Store’s pre-order charts. At the time of typing, the Rare sailing escapade occupies several spots on PlayStation’s upcoming best-sellers list, including the number one position above heavy hitters like Dragon’s Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Sony have manage to leak their own demo of Stellar Blade by placing it on the PlayStation store by accident. It was quickly removed by a few people had manage to grab a copy by then and have posted the first 40 minutes on YouTube.
