The upcoming Fortnite collaboration with Star Wars might feature Chewbacca, a highly anticipated character, as a cosmetic skin. Fortnite has been celebrating May the Fourth in-game for the past few years. In 2023, Epic Games took it up a notch; Fortnite hosted a major Star Wars crossover event called Find the Force, and it even featured its own event pass with themed cosmetic rewards and quests.
' new story trailer confirmed the appearance of one of the series' most ruthless crime syndicates, Crimson Dawn. Previously, it was known that Kay Vess would be running into three major crime families, the Hutts, the Pykes, and a completely new clan, the Ashiga, however, other known syndicates that were active at the time, Crimson Dawn, Black Sun, and Crymorah hadn't been shown.

The first trailer for new Star Wars series The Acolyte has arrived, and it looks epic.
The Acolyte, the next Star Wars show to hit Disney Plus, has finally set an official release date: the series will premiere on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. This lines up with the previously rumored release date reported by Collider last month.
This week the big question has been just what the hell Warner Bros. have managed to do with the Arkham/Batman franchise after the unsurprising failure of Suicide Squad to revive the series’ fortunes. For the record, Suicide Squad is well worth playing just to experience the storyline and the characters, but as a long-term live-service game it leaves a lot to be desired. It’s clear that live service is no longer the golden goose the industry thought it was, and with more games battling for our multiplayer hours, including a batch of thoroughly great free-to-play titles, the outlook has to change. Hopefully it’s in the player’s interests, rather than in the shareholders’.
As F1 continues to ride high on the heady fumes of Drive to Survive, New Star GP is cannily set to draft effortlessly behind it. Bringing a retro-inspired take on the sport that focuses on the same crowd-pleasing action we’ve seen from the studio’s previous sports titles like the stunning Retro Bowl, New Star GP allows players to take their team through multiple decades of Formula 1 racing.
New Star GP goes beyond a fitting tribute to SEGA's arcade classic, Virtua Racing. When tracks bear striking similarities to Interlagos, Silverstone, and more — never mind that you're fighting off-brand rivals like Michael Schildhauer and Niki Laube — New Star GP takes clear inspiration from Formula 1 to deliver a compelling experience. Boasting a surprisingly hefty career mode, we've rarely seen arcade racers with this much depth.
Star Wars might be in for another popularity surge on Disney Plus, as a new rumor suggests that one upcoming show is already in the preliminary stages of a second season, several months before fans and critics can even see the show’s premiere.
A new Star Wars project is allegedly courting an award-winning actress from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and fans are already loving the idea of having another big name in the galaxy far, far away.
A Disney Dreamlight Valley teaser may hint at a Monsters Inc. Star Path in the next game update. Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Paths allow players to unlock rewards while exploring new content, and the next one may revolve around one of Pixar's greatest hits.
Racing games come and go, but the best of them manage to combine memorable visuals with fantastic handling and game modes. New Star GP is a racer that looks firmly to the past while crafting a racing game of the future, with retro-influenced visuals – think Sega classics like Virtua Racing and Daytona – but a thoroughly modern outlook. While it’s currently out in Early Access on PC, you can hop into a brand new demo on Xbox right now, all in preparation for the game’s release in 2024.

I’ve been playing Star Wars: Shatterpoint since day one – in fact, we have been reviewing each and every box released since the game’s inception. I’m not a huge fan of tabletop gaming, and even though my father-in-law and kids attend a few big ones each year here in Ontario, I tend to sit on the side and just watch – it’s not my scene. Shatterpoint, however, is something I’ve grown to love, but the experience needs a boost and that boost is coming soon!
Once upon a time we had PlayStation All-Stars, and now PlayStation is all stars once again. Well, the PlayStation Store is, anyway.
Minecraft is getting a new bit of Star Wars DLC filled with a bunch of familiar faces from the galaxy far, far away in blocky, Minecraftified form. You’ll also be able to make your own lightsaber and droid companion to take on your adventures as a Jedi padawan.
If there’s one thing I’ve been excited about all year long, it’s League of Legends‘ upcoming Redeemed Star Guardian Xayah and Rakan skins. While I was initially over the moon for Senna’s Sailor Moon-style look finally making it into the game, it left me a little out in the cold as I wasn’t a huge fan of the splash art or its animations. Xayah and Rakan were set to redeem (ha ha) the Wild Rift Star Guardian ports for me, but a new find from LoL YouTuber ‘SkinSpotlights’ has dampened my excitement a little.
A few weeks after one Starfield shipright managed to build an Imperial Star Destroyer so massive that it needed a 21-page how-to guide, another Star Wars lookalike vessel has graced Bethesda's RPG with such detail that it drops its FPS right down to 15.
A new entry in the Star Wars Jedi series is currently in the works, according to the main character Cal Kestis' voice actor.
Starfield is seemingly infinite. From the vast, explorable planets to the myriad quests and missions, the latest Bethesda RPG game is more than a match for Skyrim, Fallout, and the rest of the Elder Scrolls series. But although Starfield mods are doing an amazing job transforming the space sim so far, there’s one thing that we’re all waiting for, especially if we long for the classics like Knights of the Old Republic and the original Star Wars Battlefront games. Now, a Starfield total conversion mod is beginning to transform the Settled Systems into something more like a galaxy far, far away, and once it’s all done, it’ll feel like a whole-new Star Wars game.

Paradox Interactive has announced that its upcoming Star Trek RTS, Star Trek: Infinite, will be releasing for PC and MacOS on October 12.
No one should have to go too long without new Star Trek, and thankfully Paramount agrees: A month after Strange New Worlds wrapped up season 2, Star Trek: Lower Decks is back with its fourth season to bring some wacky fun to the Federation (which, the rest of the Star Trek universe aside, the Federation could sorely use; they can get a bit self-serious).
Disney Dreamlight Valley has been a big hit since it was first released into the marketplace. The early access title gained a wide audience for its relaxed and casual gameplay. Adding in the fact that you also were dealing with some hefty IPs from the Disney company, there are plenty of fans out there that would spend countless hours playing this game. Players are constantly coming back because the development team is also bringing in more characters and popular Disney IPs into the mix.
New Ahsoka footage has showcased Ahsoka Tano helping Sabine Wren with her lightsaber skills.
A special new update is coming this month for Inkbound . Shiny Shoe’s Early Access tactical roguelike will get the Starship of Terrors update, which includes the new Star Captain class, new quests and enemies, and a new starship book to explore.
There are a lot of arcade-influenced racers on the market, but few that would actually completely work in an arcade. New Star GP is one such game. In the vein of classics like Virtua Racing and Daytona USA for arcade fans and Hotshot Racing, it’s a checkpoint racer with some twists because it’s a PC game. As a result of the platform it’s on, it’s available in early access for a lower price point – $17.99 gets you the game with all of its current content and future free updates as well. One problem a lot of the classic arcade racers have had was a lack of content – outside of games like the OutRun games and home conversions of Daytona adding in more tracks, they usually are a bit lean while Hotshot had some big free content updates over the years to keep it fresh.
We were already excited about The Acolyte, 2024’s new "mystery-thriller" Star Wars show set hundreds of years before the prequels. Now, next year can’t come soon enough – thanks to a pitch-perfect tease from star Manny Jacinto about the Disney Plus series’ use of lightsabers.
The Star Wars galaxy is famous for its planets with a single identifiable environmental characteristic. There’s Tatooine, the desert planet; Hoth, the snow planet; Kamino, the water planet; and Mustafar, the fire and lava planet. Thanks to Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft’s open-world scoundrel-adventure game, Star Wars now has a wind planet.
