LEGO Teases New Star Wars Character for Fortnite

It's Star Wars Day and if you're planning on celebrating your fandom by playing some video games set in a galaxy far, far away, you've got a lot of options. In the biggest LEGO Fortnite collaboration to date, characters and items from Star Wars are coming to the brick-based Fortnite spin-off later this week.

The long-delayed Star Wars: Hunters finally has a new release date. Back in 2021, Lucasfilm Games and developer Zynga announced Star Wars: Hunters, a squad-based arena shooter set after the fall of the Galactic Empire at the end of the original Star Wars movie trilogy. Players can choose from characters like Rieve, a dark-side-empowered warrior, a lightsaber-wielding droid called J-3DI, and even Utooni, a pair of junk-scavenging Jawas stacked together. Each of these characters has their own unique abilities, which will come in handy during frantic battles across several classic Star Wars locations.

Star Wars returns to Fortnite on May 3, one day before the annual May 4 Star Wars celebrations.

After four long years of waiting, it seems that Fortnite players in the European Union will soon be able to enjoy the game across all Apple mobile devices. Fortnite's Battle Royale game mode was released in September 2017, and not too long after, it became available on mobile devices. Fortnite will be introducing more Star Wars characters with this year's annual May the Fourth event. Fortnite is a highly versatile game when it comes to cosmetics. While gamers might see intimidating figures, such as Predator or Hades, roaming the vast island for victims, they'll come across adorable skins like Meowscles and Bush Ranger just as often. If there's one thing Fortnite fans like, it's brand-new cosmetic items, especially if they're related to their favorite franchises.
