Marvel Rivals will see players battling with and against each other while playing as a variety of different Marvel heroes and villains, but given its nature as a 6v6 hero shooter, the arenas that you’ll be fighting in are going to be just as crucial as the characters you’ll be playing as.

NetEase, the publisher of Marvel Rivals, is retracting its no negativity clause for streamers previewing the game.

NetEase Games has come under fire for its recent closed alpha release of multiplayer superhero title Marvel Rivals. Members of the game’s community spotted that the contract that players have to sign in order to get access to it includes a non-disparagement clause.

While the closed alpha test for Marvel Rivals is still a day away, the game has already been datamined with a host of new details about the title being revealed. As part of the datamine, some of the game’s playable characters, as well as NPCs have been revealed.

Upon its announcement last month, NetEase Games confirmed that Marvel Rivals would be getting a closed alpha sometime in May, and now the company has revealed further details. The 6v6 hero shooter’s closed alpha will go live on May 10 at 5 PM Pacific, and will remain live until May 20 at 11:59 PM Pacific. The test will be available to 30,000 players, but only in the United States and Canada.

Last month, Marvel Games and NetEase Games announced Marvel Rivals, a new 6v6 competitive shooter featuring famous heroes and villains with some inter-dimensional shenanigans. Though it announced Asgard as one of the maps, it’s Yggsgard, a fusion of Asgard and the Yggdrasill, the World Tree due to the “Timestream Entanglement.” Check it out below in the first map teaser.

NetEase Games’ upcoming team-based PVP shooter has a closed alpha in March, and fans can sign up now. The game also got a new trailer showcasing its Yggsgard map in the realm of Asgard.

Journey developer thatgamecompany have announced the PC early access release date for their social MMO Sky: Children Of The Light. Having already built up a substantial community on both mobile and consoles, PC players will now be able to join in on April 10th on Steam.
