Launch sales of Rise of the Ronin are surpassing the Nioh series, according to Koei Tecmo.

The director of Rise of the Ronin says he wants to see Team Ninja‘s next game accomplish things that couldn’t be managed this time around.

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have dropped a new behind-the-scenes video for Rise of the Ronin, which launches in the coming weeks exclusively for PS5. It discusses the impact of player choice and how their overall direction can mimic that of a ronin. Check it out below.

is Bethesda Softworks’ biggest game yet in almost every respect, featuring an unprecedented amount of playable space, an inventive New Game Plus feature, and a record-breaking launch. The game took roughly seven years to complete—typical Bethesda games take around four—and is considered a true passion project on behalf of Bethesda director Todd Howard and the rest of the developers. In December 2023, was reported to see 1.2 million daily players, and had amassed somewhere around 12,000,000 players in total.

is arguably Bethesda Softworks’ most ambitious project to date. Offering players over 1,000 planets to explore, the scale of is immense; it’s fitting, then, that it was Bethesda’s biggest game launch of all time. Like with the studio’s other hits like and, offers players a huge amount of choice when it comes to how, when, and even if they complete its main story. The game took over seven years to make and, judging by studio head Todd Howard’s comments, was designed to be played for even longer.

There’s plenty to appreciate in Starfield. You get gorgeous looks at outer space, intense shootouts with Spacer Scum, and some good companions to enjoy your adventure with. The game also features a stellar soundtrack courtesy of audio director Mark Lampert and composer Inon Zur.

Geoff Keighley hosted Gamescom Opening Night Live today, and much like Summer Game Fest before it, the event was dominated by new looks at previously announced titles.

Starfield is mere days away from launch now, and to kick the hype surrounding the space-faring RPG into overdrive, Bethesda and Microsoft brought a new look at the game to kick off Gamescom Opening Night Live. Along with a live performance by Starfield composer Inon Zur, a cinematic live action trailer was shown off, offering a glimpse at some of the many, many adventures you’ll be heading on in its vast expanses of space.

Gamescom 2023 is finally here, and to kick off the event, Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live event, filled with new announces for upcoming games, including Alan Wake 2, Mortal Kombat 1, and Assassin's Creed Mirage, along with some new game reveals.

Devcom has announced measures to guarantee a safe environment at its conference this August, with the organisers detailing plans to bolster its inclusivity and create a “safer space.”
