Starfield Receives Live Action Trailer Ahead of Imminent Release

Nintendo is easily the most legendary video game developer and publisher in gaming history because of how long it has lasted and the quality of titles it produces. However, when it comes to adaptations outside of video games, that’s when the company hits speedbumps. But with a certain animated film starring Mario hitting a billion dollars at the box office this year, many wonder if the company has hit upon something that works. We know they’re working with Illumination to make another animated film. We just don’t know what. But now, a new rumor says they’re also working on a live-action Legend Of Zelda film.

Starfield is now up on Early Access, for both Steam and Xbox, including Xbox on PC and Xbox Series X|S.

As if the hype for Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield wasn’t enough, a new video is available showcasing its official song “Children of the Sky.” It’s by the pop rock band Imagine Dragons, and though seemingly edited from existing footage, the sci-fi RPG still looks very good.

The world of Pokémon media is expanding. A new, live-action Pokémon drama premiering this fall will focus on the impact of the game on a former fan’s life — not on the Pokémon themselves. The show will air in October in Japan, according to a tweet from Japanese TV company Tokyo TV, translated by Pokémon website Serebii.

We're still a little while out from both launch and those Starfield reviews dropping, so  it feels like the best place to start is with the Starfield Direct. Back in June, Bethesda well and truly lifted the lid with what's since been described as a feature film-length documentary about the game.

Warner Bros. Games has dropped the live-action trailer for the next installment to NetherRealm Studios’ best-selling videogame franchise. The video serves as a homage to the iconic ’90s commercial “Mortal Monday,” featuring Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista, who can be seen amassing people from all walks of life and empowering them to unleash the fight within.

On September 19th, Mortal Kombat 1 will drop, and it will be the dawn of a “new era” for the franchise in more forms than one. The franchise has had a long and complicated road to get here, but NetherRealm Studios has fought hard to keep things alive since they rebooted the franchise in 2011. In that decade-plus, they’ve released three titles, with the fourth coming next month, and it’s breathed new life into the series. The previous entry was the most successful title of the lot by a large margin, and its DLC helped set up the new world we’re about to enter.

Ahead of Mortal Kombat 1's September 19 release date, developer NetherRealm Studios has released a new live-action trailer that pays homage to the iconic 1993 TV commercial.

Teyon impressed quite a sizeable crowd with Terminator: Resistance, so it’s no surprise that there are plenty of eyes on the developer’s next first person shooter based on a beloved action film franchise. RoboCop: Rogue City has looked like an intriguing prospect ever since its announcement, and during the recent Future Games Show, publisher Nacon showcased another new trailer for the shooter.
