Warner Bros. Games has released a live-action trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 featuring Dave Bautista. Riffing on the «Mortal Monday» live-action trailer from 1993, this new video features the Guardians of the Galaxy star walking around and convincing people to fight to the death.
Bautista goes to a library, a coffee shop, a symphony orchestra, a pottery place, and a park to encourage people to stop what they are doing and to yell «MORTAL KOMBAT!» instead. You can watch the new live-action trailer below and the original Mortal Monday video at the bottom of the page.

The new trailer, which is called «It's In Our Blood,» was directed by commercials director Tom Kuntz, with cinematography from Oscar-nominated cinematographer Matthew Libatique (A Star is Born).
«I vividly remember the original Mortal Monday commercial, especially the iconic scream,» Bautista said in a press release «That's what started my journey as a fan of Mortal Kombat, which continues to this day 30 years later. I'm very thrilled and honored to be a part of the game's legacy.»
Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 14 with early access for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC, and then September 19 for everyone. The cast of characters in the game include Kang, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Smoke, Rain, Li Mei, Tanya, Baraka, Geras, Reptile, Ashrah, Havik, General Shao, Sindel, and more, including Peacemaker from Suicide Squad and Homelander from the Amazon show The Boys, among others.
