Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear projects received a few bits of new information lately, showcasing the menu screen of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and updates coming to Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. While it promised a more substantial presentation “soon,” it seems that David Hayter, who voices Naked Snake in the original, went hands-on with the title.

While Konami discussedMetal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 and updates to Vol. 1 in its recent Production Hotline video, it’s focused on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The remake of the 2004 classic is co-developed by Virtuos and Konami and aims for a “faithful recreation of the original story and game design.”

Konami seems to be very slowly pulling back the curtain on its PS5 remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as after Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter teased the title for his YouTube legacy series, the game's main menu has been put online. Not so noteworthy in itself, but now Hayter has come out to say he's played the full game, and also added «it was spectacular».
