The newest version, Update 2.1, went live today, December 5, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. While the changes may not be as drastic, the new version includes several exciting new features.

Adam Smasher is supposed to be a near-legendary threat to Night City itself, built up through in-game and out-of-game lore. As the final boss of and a memorable character in the anime, he should have been an epic battle that players made it through by the barest of margins. Instead, he was a relative weakling and a huge letdown for players once they went toe-to-toe with him as V. After patch 2.1, however, he is much closer to the reputation that precedes him.

The updated will be available December 5 (the same day Rockstar is launching the trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto), which will also mark the release of Cyberpunk 2077's Ultimate Edition.
