Two months ago, Square Enix dropped the news that Nier Reincarnation would be shutting down in April. They’ve scheduled the big goodbye for April 29, and they’re sending it off with one final tribute. The last chapter Act III: Transmigration is now out for all players.
Act III: Transmigration is part of The People and the World, the third and final story arc of the game. The game is officially calling it quits on April 29th, so let’s give you a quick lowdown on the events that are going down till then.
So, here’s what’s up for grabs. Firstly, all your favourite 5-star characters, crossovers included, are getting a little Karma gift. And when it comes to summoning, there’s a 10% appearance rate of 4-star characters, with a guarantee you’ll snag one.
A campaign is also going on where New Festive Characters and Abstract Savior get a boost in Attack and HP for the Recollections of Dusk and Story Quests. You can snag 300 karma stones from logging in and a 50-pack of premium summon tickets as a little parting gift.
The best part about NieR Reincarnation is its beautifully drawn art and well-narrated storyline. When they first announced that they’d be shutting down, a lot of the players wondered if the story would be available offline. Unfortunately, apart from their YouTube videos, you won’t be able to read/see NieR Reincarnation anywhere else.
If you want to know more about the final chapter Act III: Transmigration, head to their official website. Also, get your hands on the game before April 29th on the Google Play Store.

A free update has been announced for that's going to make it better than ever. The last main single-player entry in the franchise, was released to critical acclaim back in 2015 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and while it's available via backward compatibility on the current generation of consoles, many have hoped it would get an upgrade that optimized the newer hardware like many other titles from the last console generation.
While the final days of the Nintendo 3DS might have been a long time coming, that doesn’t take away the sting that comes with the final step of ending a generation of consoles.
