Bandai Namco has revealed its roadmap for Tekken 8 throughout the rest of 2024, including the game’s second DLC character, new story, and plenty more.

During EVO Japan 2024, Bandai Namco released a new trailer showcasing upcoming updates for Tekken 8. A new balance patch will be available this Spring, but fans can expect several free post-launch updates. Check out the trailer below.

While a new stage and Photo Mode will go live this Summer, perhaps the most intriguing announcement is a new Main Story chapter launching this Autumn for free. Single-player life simulation game Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC via Steam this fall, publisher Private Division and developer Weta Workshop announced. More playable characters in the upcoming fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO have been confirmed in the newest issue of V-Jump. Whis, Beerus, Gohan, Future Gohan, and Videl have been added to the already-stacked roster. Of particular note: this is the first time Beerus and Whis will appear in a Budokai Tenkaichi game, as this is the first new entry in the series in over a decade.

New characters for upcoming arena fighter Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero have been revealed. Spotted by X (formerly Twitter) user @SLOplays, the characters were shown off through an issue of Japanese publication V-jump magazine.
