The sequel to CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 is already in development, known by the codename "Project Orion", and developers with some serious credits have begun to assemble at the company's Boston studio (and a satellite studio in Vancouver). Ottawa will keep pushing Meta to comply with a new law requiring large internet companies to pay Canadian news publishers for their content, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Friday, but the Facebook parent stood by its decision to block news sharing rather than pay. The government on Friday published final regulations for the Online News Act before enforcement starts Dec. 19. Let’s not forget that CD Projekt Red first announced the game MANY years ago and then spent an equal number of years trying to get the game to a “certain level” before it was finally shown to the public, and even then, it kept getting delayed. By the time it was released in 2020, fans wouldn’t know what awaited them.
