Helldivers 2 details its spaceship and top-level "Galactic War" ahead of next month's release

Building up your character and being a team player is critical in Helldivers 2. A mission is doomed from the start if you only look out for yourself, but you might be overlooking an easy way to give yourself and your squad some extra support. Boosters are just one of the many ways to customize your trooper, but perhaps one of the most important.

The PlayStation exclusive Helldivers 2 has caught the attention of many players for various reasons. The hype has resulted in a tsunami of purchases, putting Helldivers 2 in a good position.

Swedish developer Arrowhead Game Studios (Magicka) has released the third-person shooter game Helldivers 2 on PlayStation 5 and PC, immediately achieving strong results on the latter platform. According to Steam data, Helldivers 2 peaked at 81K concurrent players around five hours ago, surpassing God of War's previous record of 73K for a PlayStation launch.

Arrowhead Studios has released a new Helldivers 2 trailer that’s all about the Galactic War campaign gameplay, detailing how missions work on a planetary and galactic scale. The co-op third person shooter is set to release for PS5 and PC on 8th February 2024.

Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 offers many of the same gameplay elements as the original, from friendly fire to Stratagems. However, it also features the Galactic War, which functions similarly to the Galactic Campaign from Helldivers 1. With a Super Destroyer at your disposal, you’ll travel to different locations to deal with threats to Super Earth.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a live service game, there’s no escaping that, but details surrounding what you’ll actually do after you complete the main campaign have remained sketchy.
