Ed Punches A Hole Into Street Fighter 6 Next Month

Bandai Namco’s fighting sequel, Tekken 8, has debuted at the top of this week’s UK boxed charts.

Tekken 8 launched last week on the back of plenty of excitement and widespread critical acclaim, and the fighter’s sales seem to be reflecting its critical success. In the UK, at least, the game has got off to a remarkably better start than another recent major fighting release.

Ever since this game was announced back in 2021, there has been quite a hype about it. And now, it’s finally going to drop soon. I am talking about GRYPHLINE’s upcoming premium 3D RPG, Ex Astris. Street Fighter Duel, the Idle RPG, is set to celebrate its first anniversary on February 28. Capcom and Crunchyroll teamed up to release this JRPG last year globally for mobile devices. Capcom has revealed its third post-launch DLC fighter for Street Fighter 6, Ed, set to make his arrival sometime in February. Street Fighter 6 has received exceptionally high praise from the fighting game community after its hugely successful June 2023 launch. The title, which incorporated its first-ever RPG-style single-player World Tour mode, went on to win Best Fighting Game at the 2023 Game Awards over its fierce rival, Mortal Kombat 1.

Collecting video game statues is a very expensive hobby. Capcom has released a new teaser trailer for the next addition to the Street Fighter 6 roster. The new character, Ed, focuses on a boxing fighting style, and will be available to players that own either the Street Fighter 6 Year 1 Character Pass, the Ultimate Pass, or the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition of the game. Ed is set for release in February.
