Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Complete Comes To U.S. Theaters For Two Days Next Month

When Final Fantasy XVI was announced, Square Enix made it clear that this would be an attempt by them to make something different. They weren’t going to “rewrite the book,” per se, and make an entirely different kind of game. Still, they were going to lean into certain elements that would take it in a different direction compared to previous entries in the longstanding franchise. But one of the most important factors was that this game would have a much darker storyline, one that was embodied in the main character, Clive Rosfield. He would be a conduit for many things that would happen in the best and worst ways, and many fans resonated with him as a result.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature an ambiguous ending that will keep players wondering about the third and final part of the trilogy, according to the game's producer.

There's definitely still a benefit to buying physical games, especially when there are deals like this to be found only days before release on new AAA titles like Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (or other new titles like Tekken 8). Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is right around the corner on February 29, so Square Enix is capitalizing on the thirst for more Cloud and Sephiroth with special screenings of the CG-animated Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children film a week ahead of launch. 

Many people are looking forward to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and that’s not a shock at all. The upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth recently shared a video showing off its fast-travel system, which happens almost instantly thanks to the PS5's SSD. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is easily one of 2024's most highly-anticipated games, even winning the award for such at The Game Awards 2023.

During an interview with Square Enix’s Naoki Yoshida, the Final Fantasy XIV director and XVI producer has revealed that he thinks it might be better for a younger generation of developers to pick up the mantle and work on Final Fantasy XVII.
