2024 has already had a number of major releases, and in that list, Tekken 8 has turned out to be among the most successful. The newest entry in Bandai Namco’s fighting franchise launched last month, instantly being met with widespread acclaim from critics and audiences alike, and it’s seeing commercial success to match, to the extent that Bandai Namco says the game’s sales are “better than we’d hoped for at this point”, as shared by journalist Takashi Mochizuki on Twitter.

Some Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth fans are pretty convinced a major Crisis Core character is about to re-emerge in the remake sequel.

The main games lineup for Evo 2024 has been revealed, and to the surprise of no one, Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 are the headline acts.
