Don't Nod Entertainment's 2023 climbing adventure game Jusant has made its way onto the Epic Games Store. One of last year's more unique titles, Jusant launched day one onto Xbox Game Pass in October, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Steam, initially skipping an Epic Games Store release.
French developer Don't Nod is mainly known for its popular narrative adventure games like the Life is Strange franchise and other similar titles like Twin Mirror and Tell Me Why. With that said, when the studio revealed Jusant, a unique climbing adventure experience, at Xbox's Summer Game Fest showcase, many fans of Don't Nod were puzzled yet delighted at the developer's impressive range of game scales and art styles. Jusant's style of gameplay turned out to be a perfect fit for the studio's signature minimalist visuals.
Almost five months after Jusant's Fall release, Don't Nod revealed that it has now launched on Epic Games Store. In a tweet accompanied by a trailer, Don't Nod expressed that its climbing adventure game is available on Epic's store at a 20% discount. Jusant's base price on the storefront is $25, but is discounted to $20; gamers who use Epic Games Store can take advantage of this until March 26.
Now that Jusant has landed on the Epic Games Store, there's still one platform it hasn't released on that it would seem perfect for. With its minimalist, low-detail art style and relatively small scope, the Nintendo Switch would make a perfect home for a game like Jusant. Many of Don't Nod's previous games, like the first two Life is Strange games, last year's Harmony: The Fall of Reverie, and even the much more graphically demanding Vampyr have found their way onto Nintendo's platform over the years; Jusant seems like a no-brainer.
Fans of Don't Nod's games have just been treated to another AAA-style action-adventure title in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, which mixes fierce third-person combat with the story of two ghost hunters who are also lovers. Looking ahead, the studio has another Life is Strange-like narrative experience in Lost Records: Bloom and Rage, which is also looking to release sometime later this year. Whether it makes it onto Epic Games Store at launch is unknown.

The Epic Games Store free game for April 11 is Ghostrunner. Epic Games Store users are treated to new free games on a weekly basis, with the offerings rotating every Thursday at 10:00am CT. The Epic Games Store didn't break from this established pattern with the latest free game offerings, with users able to claim two new freebies right now.
The Epic Games Store recently saw the addition of several older games from EA, including multiple entries from the Need for Speed and Battlefield franchises. Standing as one of the most popular online marketplaces for games, Epic Games has often looked for ways to help its storefront stand out from major competitors like Steam. Epic Games regularly features free games for users to claim through the storefront, often giving away popular games like The Outer Worlds and Fallout: New Vegas. Now, the storefront has added multiple EA games to its lineup.

These are The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition and Thief.
Every Thursday at 10 am CT, the Epic Games Store rotates its free game selection and confirms what will be coming the next week. This means Epic Games Store users can no longer claim Call of the Wild: The Angler or Invincible Presents: Atom Eve, but they can claim Islets until April 4. At that time, Islets will rotate out of EGS and the service will add The Outer Worlds and Thief, two big pick-ups for the service.
The first free Epic Games Store game for April 2024 will be The Outer Worlds, according to a new report from a credible leaker. The critically acclaimed RPG was already free for Epic Games Store users fairly recently, though many might have missed out on that freebie due to the extremely tight window of opportunity to claim it.

Microsoft is embarking on an interesting multiplatform strategy these days, with its previously exclusive first-party titles like Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment available on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has said that the industry shouldn’t rule out any title on other platforms, but he’s also interested in extending that philosophy to other storefronts.

The Epic Games Store free game for March 28 is Islets. While fans can always count on the Epic Games Store to give away free games every Thursday at 10am CT, the giveaways are otherwise fairly inconsistent. There are times when the Epic Games Store gives away one free game, but there are also times when EGS users have two free games to claim.
