Next week’s free Epic Games Store title has seemingly leaked ahead of an official announcement on Thursday.
According to ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun, The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from April 4-11.
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division, the game normally costs $59.99 / £49.99, although it’s currently available for $23.99 / £19.99 as part of the Epic Game Store’s Spring Sale, which ends tomorrow.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is expected to replace Islets, which will be free to claim from the Epic Games Store for one week beginning at 11am ET / 3pm GMT on March 28.
Until then, players can claim open world fishing game Call of the Wild: The Angler and comic book superhero title Invincible Presents: Atom Eve free of charge.
Epic Games held its annual State of Unreal keynote at GDC last week, which featured the reveal of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
The company also reiterated plans to bring Epic Games Store to mobile later this year, among other announcements.

Microsoft has announced the next batch of titles heading to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
The Epic Games Store recently saw the addition of several older games from EA, including multiple entries from the Need for Speed and Battlefield franchises. Standing as one of the most popular online marketplaces for games, Epic Games has often looked for ways to help its storefront stand out from major competitors like Steam. Epic Games regularly features free games for users to claim through the storefront, often giving away popular games like The Outer Worlds and Fallout: New Vegas. Now, the storefront has added multiple EA games to its lineup.
Xbox has added a new feature to Xbox Cloud Gaming that could make the overall Game Pass Ultimate subscription a far greater deal for players. While there are separate Game Pass tiers for consoles or PC players with slightly different libraries, the Ultimate subscription grants access to Game Pass across both, along with the option to stream titles rather than downloading them both at home and on the go through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
