Cyberpunk's 2.02 patch has hit, bringing with it a surfeit of tweaks, fixes, and improvements to Night City in the wake of the game's sweeping 2.0 update and accompanying redemption arc. As usual there's a whole lot of bullet points here, and I'll put the full patch notes below, but there are a couple of entries worth highlighting in particular.
First up is an issue that was striking players pursuing a specific ending. I won't spoil anything, but suffice it to say that there are numerous reports from players of their V clambering into a car as part of the endgame Path Of Glory quest and immediately, inexplicably dying. Although that would be admirably outré if it had been CD Projekt's intended ending for V on that path, it turns out it was just a bug, and «V will no longer flatline» randomly after the game's 2.02 update.
There's also a fix that stops Johnny Silverhand appearing—Tyler Durden-style—during the game's Trauma Drama bits if you do them before the end of act 1, and the game will no longer give you a small heart attack with random «Warning — Detected» messages. Most tragically, though, giving money to a homeless person will no longer reduce your wanted level. Frankly, I think the fact that's not how it works is a bug with real life rather than the game.
The only tweak I don't really understand is the fact that the game will now remove the crafting specs for iconic weapons from your inventory after you craft the gear. I'm not entirely sure what the reasoning behind that is; it's not as if Cyberpunk is a multiplayer game that has to keep a throttle on its economy and the proliferation of high-level gear. If I want to spend all my time churning out Ba Xing Chongs, I believe that's my constitutional right as a Night City resident.
Ah well, you can't have everything. Here are the full patch notes. Beware a spoiler for an Act 1 character's fate on the 8th bullet point, chooms.

Well, here's an odd one. Last night, hundreds of furious World of Warcraft players took to Blizzard's forums to voice their complaints about a bug that is making the game all but unplayable, which seems to have emerged from the recent 10.2 update. The twist? All of these players are located in Norway.
As 2023 comes to a close, the games industry once again prepares for another ceremony recognizing the year’s line-up of adventures that made us laugh, cry, and everything in between. While we all have our personal lists, The Game Awards (TGA) packages that into something a little more formal.
When you first come across a Delamain car in , its location will be marked on the map so that you can start a major side quest right after. There are six Delamain cars in total, and V will be tasked to find all of them in Night City. However, unlike the first car, the rest will not be marked on the map, and you will have to locate them without any clues or guidance. Finding all of them will reward V with a lot of Street Cred, EXP, and Eurodollars (Eddies).
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is less than a day from launching, but a common early access exploit has allowed thousands of players to get a headstart on the competition. It’s a yearly event in CoD, but fans have grown tired of the shenanigans.
Xbox has announced a partnership with a company called Inworld AI in order to «empower game creators with the potential of generative AI» and no, you aren't the only one who thinks that sounds incredibly ominous.
hides plenty of mysteries within the depths of its mines, but this also means that it's easy to miss out on features and content. Past the opening tutorial, more complex mechanics and discoveries are left for players to figure out on their own accord. This can be a rewarding way to play, but it also means that basic upgrades can be overlooked for far too long, and unique discoveries may go permanently unnoticed.

is replete with additions and improvements to the previous titles from developer Insomniac Games, but one feature that isn't present is a huge missed opportunity. The newest entry expands on its predecessors by putting both Peter Parker and Miles Morales at the forefront, testing their mettle and web-slinging prowess against threats new and old. From a world with increased density and scale to developments like seamless fast travel that can jump to any point on the map, Insomniac Games pushed the envelope in many ways while failing to implement an age-old option that generates fun.
