Fyr'alath Pity Week
It's Week 13 of the Legendary becoming available and according to datamining, this is the earliest week that Heroic raiders can get Fyr'alath the Dreamrender guaranteed on their kill.
Here's some tips and tricks to completing the important parts of the Legendary Quest chain.
Emerald Dream Objectives
Disenchanting Gear
Handling It: Radiant Fleck of Ash is just a Time Sink. Every 5 minutes, use the Ashen Dowsing Rod on an Epic piece of gear. Don't have any random raid or Mythic+ gear sitting around? Buy the reputation vendor gear from Moon Priestess Lasara for Dragon Isles Supplies!
Tip #1: Buy the reputation vendor gear from Moon Priestess Lasara for the Handling It: Radiant Fleck of Ash quest.
There are ways to skip the 5 minute timer, but this quest isn't the limiting factor in creating the Legendary so there's no use in getting it done any faster.
Killing Emerald Dream Rares
Handling It: Taut Tethercoil is likely still not the limiting factor for the quest as you can farm this faster than the Superblooms objective. Some important notes:
- Rares can be killed multiple times a day.
- The Tether must be applied while YOU are out of combat and cannot break.
- The final boss of the Superbloom counts as a rare.
- The Lasher in the Emerald Frenzy counts as a rare.
The easiest way to farm this is to farm the Lasher in the Emerald Frenzy between Superblooms and during Superblooms make sure to Tether the final boss. In the Emerald Frenzy, kill mobs until the Rare spawns, Tether and kill, then repeat. If you're on during popular hours, there may be a farming group in LFG, take a look!
Tip #2: Farm the Emerald Frenzies for consistent Rares. Check in LFG, there might be a farming group you can join!
Superblooms
Handling It: Shadowed Dreamleaf is the objective that will usually take the longest for people, especially if they don't have help. You need 200 Shadowed Dreamleaf and they can drop from each bag from the Superbloom (Sprouting Dreamtrove, Budding Dreamtrove, Blossoming Dreamtrove) and the final boss. It's important to get into a group that can fill up the bar in Superblooms!
Tip #3: Join a Superbloom group in LFG a couple minutes before the Superbloom starts. These groups usually fill a raid to 40 man and can guarantee a full bar.
Superblooms also don't finish at the same time in all phases due to how fast each phase finishes the Defense objective. By joining a 40 man group, you are guaranteed to put
