A new Baldur's Gate 3 patch is now live on PC and consoles, bringing a massive number of new features, improvements, fixes, and more.
Patch #6, which weighs around 17.3 GB on PC, introduces, among many things, new kissing animations with the chosen romance partner, new idle animations for some of the companions, and a ton of quality-of-life improvements, such as the ability to dismiss a recruited companion from the party while speaking with the companion the player wants to replace them with, prioritization of the avatar character as the main speaker in dialogues, reworked reflection scenes in the Elfsong Tavern, a new cinematic scene to support the combat encounter happening at Sorcerous Sundries, tons of blockers fixes, visual enhancements and more. A wonky interface, the lack of some quality-of-life features and Larian Studios' trademark save scumming design impact the experience, but they're only minor issues that don't take away too much from the whole experience. After years in development, Baldur's Gate 3 definitely exceeded all expectations, and in the best possible way.
