A new Cyberpunk 2077 patch has gone live today, introducing several PC-only fixes and improvements and more.
Patch 2.12 introduces a ray tracing improvement, fixing NPC hair that could appear extremely bright inside vehicles. The patch also addresses stuttering issues on Intel CPUs that occurred while the Prioritize P-Cores option was enabled. Rounding up the PC-specific fixes and improvements is the option of being able to rebind the Radioport and dropping bodies keys, a Steam Deck crashing issue that occurred when playing with ray tracing, and a crashing issue that occurred when using Razer Chroma enabled devices.
The new Cyberpunk 2077 patch also fixes an Xbox-specific issue that could cause an infinite loading state or crashing when using some saves, some quest-specific issues, and more. You can find the full patch notes on the game's official website.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide. You can learn more about the game's major 2.0 patch and the Phantom Liberty Expansion by checking out Alessio's review.
Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content. The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU).
