Deck13’s latest action RPG Atlas Fallen is available now on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. While the developer is typically known for Souls-like titles likeThe Surge, this is an action-adventure title set in a fantasy world full of sand. Check out the launch trailer below.
Under a corrupt god’s oppression, the world suffers, as people are reduced to their occupations. You’re an Unnamed, bottom of the barrel, until you discover a magical gauntlet to manipulate sand and use it as a weapon. Thus begins the journey to rebel and liberate humanity.
Players can surf through the sandy world and shape three unique weapons to battle enemies, including massive monsters. The latter are customized with Essence Stones, while armor sets provide buffs and bonuses. Co-op is also supported and allows for seamless exploration.
Of course, it’s not without its faults, as combat needs more work. Check out our review for more details.
