Assassin's Creed Mirage Puts The Best Of Unity And Odyssey Into Old School AC

Ubisoft has made it abundantly clear that Assassin's Creed Mirage is, to a large extent, a throwback to the older style of Assassin's Creed. A greater focus on stealth, a stripping of (most) RPG systems, and a smaller, more intricate sandbox map all contribute to a game that's paying tribute to its roots.

As indicated by recent ESRB ratings, NIS America will bring The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 4 to PS5 in early 2024. NISA announced today that a new adventure is starting next year in The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak. Set in the aftermath of a brief war, Calvard is enjoying a prosperous time of economic growth. But game settings remain boring if the good times are uninterrupted, and this prosperous time feels threatened as the public grows wary over the large influx of immigrants as questionable political reform takes hold. Players will control  a spriggan by the name of Van Arkride. He is a professional that dwells underground, making ends meet by taking jobs legitimate sources can’t accept. Owing allegiance to no one, he will take on work from any client whether it be a in the role of detective, negotiator or bounty hunter.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is prepping for its October 5 launch and ahead of that, Ubisoft has dropped system requirements for the same. Unlike the norm with AAA PC games these days, this ninth-century Baghdad-set title appears to be rather forgiving on hardware, essentially going back an entire graphics generation. Running the game on Ultra settings does not require AMD's latest 7000 or Nvidia's 40 series cards. That said, the accompanying ‘PC Features' trailer shows Intel as its official partner, assuring that it's been optimised for the Arc GPUs and the respective 13th-Gen processors. This feels like a weird choice since it's not a really popular graphics card in the PC gaming community.
