Incredibly, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launched in March 2023, ahead of the insane cavalcade of games that followed. Developer Team Ninja has been consistently supporting the Souls-Like ever since, and the third DLC pack to date, Upheaval in Jingxiang, is out today on PS5 and PS4.
This new story chapter depicts the forces of the heroic Liu Bei as they attempt to hold back the threat of the Elixir, which threatens all of Jing Province. Upheaval in Jingxiang adds generals like Guan Ping and Lady Mi, fearsome foes and deadly bosses, additional armour sets, and a new weapon category, the Whip. If you picked up Wo Long's Season Pass, Upheaval in Jingxiang is included, but for everyone else, the offering will run you £9.49 or $11.99.

This was my 3rd most played game across all platforms this year. I really liked it, but then again, I am a huge Team Ninja fan.
I really enjoyed this game, played it all the way through. But c'mon man, who is returning randomly to a combat heavy game for a DLC after so many months? I forgot even how to navigate the menu, let alone play the game.
I know some people can return to the game, but for me these late DLCs (GOW Ragnarok Valhalla, Horizon Burning Shores) have no place. It's like I ate a stake at a restaurant, had dessert as well, and after I get home and get ready to sleep, the chef is at the door in the middle of the night saying «hey, I brought you this sauce that will go excellent with your stake sir»
@Petrecis24 Or it's like you watched a TV show and then they released a new season 1 year later...
@Petrecis24 An excellent analogy and the reason I barely care for dlc. The only time it works for me is if
