If you’ve played mobile games or even just scrolled through social media, you’ve no doubt seen a misleading ad for a mobile game. Maybe it was an ad for Hero Wars, like this one depicting a number-based tower game — an ad that bears no similarity to the actual game. Or maybe it was an ad for a Water Sort game that does work as advertised, but also makes you watch a video ad in between every single puzzle. Sure, these games are free to download, but there’s still a cost built into playing them.

You probably won't get a better name for a Diablo 4 streamer than Darth Microtransaction (DM), and indeed this guy has turned out to be one of the most fun to watch, for my tastes anyway. He's chill, super-knowledgeable, and doesn't rant and rave when things go wrong like the game's just insulted his mother. Good thing, too.

Bandai Namco Online have announced that Gundam Evolution, the free-to-play shooter based on the popular anime, will no longer be playable after November 29th. The mech FPS was released last year but executive producer Kazuya Maruyama now says it’s “no longer possible” for the team to provide ongoing support.
