The anticipated Dimension Shellshock DLC for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge has a release date, and it ain't far off. The expansion, which features a rather robust sounding survival mode, is out on the 31st August. It also boasts not one, but two new playable characters: samurai rabbit Miyamoto Usagi, who was previously revealed, and the freshly announced Karai — a former Foot Clan soldier. Both of these newcomers can be used in the campaign stages as well.
All in all, it's sounding like a pretty great DLC for those of you who already enjoy the base game. What's more, a free update will drop alongside Dimension Shellshock, adding «an additional range of color palette options» for everyone.

Robert's been a dedicated PlayStation fan since the days of Tekken 2, and he still loves a good dust up. When he's not practising combos, he's usually getting lost in the latest 100-hour RPG, or, y'know, replaying The Witcher 3.
Really enjoyed the game, might check the dlc out when it comes out. It's still on ps extra/premium if anyone's interested.
I’m pumped! It’s the gift that keeps on giving, Clark.
Will certainly be getting it when it's released. I still jump back in and play it regularly.

Hogwarts Legacy and Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon have swapped positions with one another to hand the Harry Potter simulator a top spot in the latest UK physical sales charts, while FromSoftware's mech game slips to fifth. The only new entry this week is at least an interesting one: the Premium Edition Upgrade for Starfield. This is a code in a box that grants five days of early access to the Bethesda RPG as well as the first story expansion, and it managed to rank seventh last week.
PowerWash Simulator has been the recipient of some great DLC packs, the last being a SpongeBob SquarePants crossover. This cartoonish, undersea level pack was the game's first premium DLC, and it's being followed up with another, only this time, we're going Back to the Future.
Square Enix has dropped an information bomb on the future of Final Fantasy 16. The immediate news is that patch 1.10 is available to download now on PS5, with the update adding alternate outfits for main characters, and the ability to change the look of Clive's sword (without changing its stats).
The wonderful Sea of Stars has been a hit for developer Sabotage. It sold 100,000 copies on day one despite being available on PS Plus Extra and Game Pass, and the critical reception has been incredibly positive. While many of you will still be meandering through Zale and Valere's adventure, work has already started on what's next for the Solstice Warriors.
Bandai Namco has finally slapped a release date on Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections. The arena fighter, which is basically a mashup of previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games and some new Boruto stuff, will feature over 130 playable characters at launch, making this one of the largest rosters to ever grace an anime-based title.
Tekken 8 got a bit of an information blowout during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The title's latest trailer confirms a whole bunch of returning characters, and lifts the curtain on a brand new single player mode that takes inspiration from the arcade scene. In it, you'll create your own cartoony avatar and fight your way to the top. It all takes place in a hub-like arcade centre, and AI learning will apparently be utilised to keep your battles interesting. Cool!
An expansion to the uber-popular PlayStation first-party exclusive God of War Ragnarok is allegedly deep in development, according to notorious leaker The Snitch. It should be noted that, while there was a period where the infamous Internet tipster was flawless, the Twitter account has changed hands – therefore the reliability of the source is more debatable than before. Recently, the social media snoop revealed seemingly accurate details about Rise of the Ronin, so does appear to be familiar with Sony’s internal affairs.
A series of beta tests for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 have been scheduled to test the shooter's multiplayer aspect before its 10th November release. Players on PS5 and PS4 will get a crack at the game first, over the weekend of the 6th of October through the 10th. More information on MW3's multiplayer suite will be detailed at Call of Duty's Next showcase on 5th October.
Revealed as part of Gamescom's Opening Night Live showcase, Blizzard has unveiled Diablo 4's second season of live content, called the Season of Blood. While it doesn't actually begin until October 17, we did get a trailer outlining what we can expect from the game's next post-launch offering. Diablo 4's current Season of the Malignant began on the 20th of July, and each is designed to last for three months.
Remedy took the somewhat unexpected decision earlier this year to delay Alan Wake 2 – but not into 2024 like is so common sometimes, but just for a week. Speaking with IGN about the Finnish developer’s decision, gaffer Sam Lake said that it was to space out the release schedule a little so all of the upcoming PS5 titles had an opportunity to shine.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a reactive game, but not just in terms of narrative and choice. Some of its most exciting gameplay aspects come from developer Larian Studio's previous outing, Divinity: Original Sin 2, such as the explosive elemental reaction system, which might come as a surprise to more casual observers.
