This Pacific Drive ‘Surviving the Zone’ video gives a deep 10 minute primer

I've long been enamoured with the landscape of the Pacific Northwest, from the Douglas firs and waterfalls of Twin Peaks to the redwoods I once swam beneath on a road trip. Thanks to Pacific Drive's Steam Next Fest demo, I have now also barrelled through the woods and backroads of a spooky alt-history PNW in a banged-up car which is itself a S.T.A.L.K.E.R.-esque artifact. I've had my eye on Pacific Drive for a few years and after playing the demo, I am delighted by parts of it but not entirely sold on its roguelikelike survival scavenge-o-rama structure. Hmm! Popular Disney Plus K-drama is all set to air two new episodes 3 and 4 on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 5 p.m. KST. Pacific Drive is due out in a month’s time, but if you’re the kind of player who prefers to purchase physically, you’re going to have to wait longer for Ironwood Studios’ driving survival game. It emerged back in November that the game would be getting a physical Deluxe Edition sometime in Spring 2024, and now a specific release date has been announced for the same.

The Tribe Must Survive, a "tribe-builder" with a survival roguelike twist, is the first management sim of its kind to really pique my curiosity in, well, I can't remember how long it's been, and it's launching into Steam Early Access on February 22.
