The Epic Games Store’s next free titles have been announced.
Survival horror sequel The Evil Within 2 and puzzle platformer Tandem: a Tale of Shadows will be free to claim on Epic’s PC marketplace from October 26 until November 2.
They’ll replace The Evil Within and Eternal Threads, which are now free to claim until October 26.
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney said in March that players should expect to see further high-profile Epic Games Store exclusives in the future.
And in August the Fortnite maker announced a new Epic Games Store exclusivity scheme.
The Epic First Run programme allows developers of any size to claim 100% of revenue if they agree to make their game exclusive on the Epic Games Store for six months.
Another Epic Games Store scheme which will see developers getting a 100% revenue share for the first six months by bringing their older titles to the marketplace was revealed earlier this week.
Last month, Epic announced plans to lay off around 830 employees, or 16% of its total workforce.
It will be increasing the price of Fortnite V-Bucks and some real money content packs later this month, and will start charging for the use of Unreal Engine outside of video game development next year.

The Epic Games Store’s next free title has been revealed.
Fortnite's original map is coming back, Epic have confirmed. The news was announced via X (formerly Twitter) weeks after several leaks had suggested that time travel shenanigans would revert the free-to-play shooter's map back to its original Chapter 1 layout.
Epic Games has revealed that Fortnite’s next major update will see the perennially popular battle royale return to its Chapter 1 roots, while retaining its popular sprinting and mantling gameplay mechanics.
