Scale the front gate of the area and look for an office trailer nearby. This is one of the few buildings you can explore in , but you need to shatter the glass to get in here since the main door to the structure is locked.
Inside the trailer, you should be able to find a filing cabinet that Ellie can pry open. A piece of paper inside has all of the gate codes listed on it, which include:
GATE
CODE
North 0
1382
Main Gate
0512
East 2
5345
West 1
6128
West 2
0451
Some other codes on the paper are faded, but you don't need to worry about those. The most important ones on this list are the Main Gate, East Gate 2, and West Gate 3 codes due to their relevance to sections of Seattle. The main story quest in will be to connect a generator and let Dina in the city, along with the horse she is riding.

Note that the map is tricky to understand at first concerning how far away things are. The area is NOT as big as map makes it seem!
West Gate 2 is one such area since its code actually functions as a way to get past the gate and a combination of a safe found at the intersection between Madison & 4th and Madison & 5th streets. Busting open this safe will give you ammunition for Ellie's guns and some crafting ingredients, healing supplies, and trading cards in .
