The Crew Motorfest Trailer Highlights Year 1 Pass

Steam is officially 20 years old, and that means PC gamers everywhere are actively crumbling into dust as the weight of this realization shakes their very core. Why not take the edge off with Valve's list of the top Steam releases for every year, which doubles as one of the best collections of must-play games ever assembled? 

Fans of The Crew franchise were ecstatic when Ubisoft officially announced the latest game’s release date was just three months out. With developers Ubisoft Ivory Tower only announcing The Crew Motorfest title earlier in 2023, the turnaround has been swift, much to the delight of racing fans. To add to the latest excitement with its imminent release on 14 September, more good news has made waves, in that players will get to experience five hours of gameplay for free.

It’s a big week for video games, with early access to NetherRealm’s Mortal Kombat 1 starting this Friday. However, early access is available now for those who purchased the Gold and Ultimate Editions of The Crew Motorfest for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. History has a way of “working itself out” regarding big desires for certain video game properties. Things worth mentioning specifically: Activision is celebrating 25 years of Spyro today with some discounts, and I'm sitting here wondering how it's been a quarter of a century since I first dragon-horn-butted and/or immolated my first sheep. Lastly, I've also spotted a decent Rebellion sale for PC gamers, and Tears of the Kingdom is back to its lowest pricepoint, too. Throw some rupees at that, for sure.

FromSoftware’sArmored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon was released last week and garnered significant critical acclaim (while also topping the UK physical sales chart on its debut). The Crew Motorfest is fast on the approach now, with the game launching on PS5 and PS4 in just a few weeks. Having been hands on with the open world racer recently, we can say with some confidence that it's coming together rather nicely. The above new trailer is testament to that — it's looking pretty darn slick.
