Whitemoon Games has announced that the Broken Ranks Winter Event 2023 is coming soon for players to enjoy. The event will consist of new rewards and festive activities, as well as special currency that boasts even greater rewards.
The event begins on December 22, 2023, and has several activities for players to enjoy this holiday season. Old Father Winter and Santa Claus will be heading into Trentis, Alaril, on the Plateau, and in Beirn, where players will be able to complete tasks varying in difficulty to earn profits. There will be six different difficulty levels of tasks to complete; trivial, easy, hard, hardcore, almost impossible, and extreme—the more difficult the task, the more profit there is to be earned.
Not only can players turn a profit, but they can also earn themselves boxes containing boss entry tickets, special currencies, and utility items that can help them along their journey. Along the way, players may encounter event mobs that can also drop a hefty amount of loot to enjoy.
These opponents drop hats and stars that players can utilize to open boxes or hold onto to exchange at the end of the event. The boxes that drop from the minions of Santa Claus can only be opened by Old Father Winter, whereas the boxes that drop from the minions of Old Father Winter can only be opened by Santa Claus.
To get the NPCs to open the boxes at various level ranges, players will need to exchange either hats and stars, platinum or gold. The only exception to this rule applies to those who are lower level, where paying with platinum is not an option.
The Winter Event will conclude on January 3, 2023 at 10AM CET, and players who happen to have leftover currency will be able to purchase exclusive rewards from Old Year. This NPC will only appear once the event ends and the battle between Santa and Old Father Winter has finally been settled.

Michael De Santa is one of the most fully fleshed out characters in the Grand Theft Auto franchise. A former crook who feels disconnected from his spoiled, wealthy family, Michael struggles with a desire to relive his ‘glory days’ and finding peace and solace with his estranged loved ones. As relatable as Michael’s story can be at some points, it’s hard to see him as a good person, though one can believe he is trying to become one.

@Jimmer-jammer @colonelkilgore @Th3solution Alright bros. Hope you had Good Christmas Days. Have anything particularly nice to eat or drink? I had a version of Death by Chocolate to drink and Jerk Chicken from a London restaurant, rice and peas, coleslaw and everything. Unusual I know but yeah, it tasted great. Hope you got good Christmas presents as well, and I trust you bestowed the appropriate gifts on your friends and loved ones. I posted a 'Dark Souls Christmas' thing above somewhere that you may have seen. Santa cosplay, lol.
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile did not survive the holidays and has released an End of Service notice on their Twitter. Maybe the game didn’t behave and ended up on Santa’s naughty list hence this dampening announcement.
Christmas is finally here, and you're more than likely reading this article with your feet up, something alcoholic in hand, getting ready to become increasingly frustrated by your elderly relatives as they struggle to understand the rules of the board game you've set up. That's the typical Christmas experience anyway, but have you ever wondered how your favorite party of adventurers would spend Christmas if it was a thing in Baldur's Gate 3.
Samtsirhc Yrrem! As they say during the festive season in Gloomwood's Mirror Realm. Actually, I imagine they say things like «What was that?» followed by «Argh!» much as they do in regular Gloomwood. What is the Mirror Realm, you ask? Why, it's part of Gloomwood's just arrived Christmas update, which adds bugfixes, new areas, and a whole host of festive doohickies alongside mysterious alternate dimensions.
