Tekken boss Harada acknowledges fan desire to include Final Fantasy's Tifa

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth's playable demo is available now on PS5, and immediately, musically gifted players took the opportunity to show off for Tifa in the included piano minigame. Tifa's Theme is set as a challenge for players to overcome in-game, but rousing tributes to other tracks quickly appeared, a testament to the flexibility of its freeplay mode.

A group of developers with credits across a number of Final Fantasy games - including the composer of Final Fantasy XII and a former Final Fantasy XIV artist - have unveiled their own upcoming JRPG headed to PC next year.

He would be a conduit for many things that would happen in the best and worst ways, and many fans resonated with him as a result.

The second instalment of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is set to launch soon, but there are, of course, plenty of other fan-favourite instalments in the long-running series that many have been hoping to see remade in similar fashion. Final Fantasy 6 in particular has been heavily demanded by series fans- though according to Yoshinori Kitase – producer on the FF7 Remake trilogy and co-director of the original Final Fantasy 6 – developing a remake series for the SNES classic would be an even more herculean task than developing the FF7 Remake trilogy.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth players will get to experience an all-new storyline when they reach the Costa del Sol segment of the game. With the game releasing in about a month, Square Enix has been revealing new information about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to keep fans excited.

While it might be hard to track down when exactly it started, we’re honestly sure ourselves, the idea of characters from another gaming franchise “crossing over” into another series has been going on for decades. The appeal of these crossovers is obvious. First, they give players the chance to play as characters they wouldn’t get to play as regularly, and two, they can create awareness of other brands, titles, series, etc. That’s why so many fighting game franchises love having these kinds of crossovers. It’s free hype, and many expect Tekken 8 to join that legacy. After all, the last entry in the franchise had several 3rd party characters appear.

Final Fantasy 7 fans, also known as Tifa Lockhart fans, have a suggestion for veteran Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada: Put Tifa in Tekken 8. They’ve hounded Harada on social media about including their No. 1 girl so rabidly this week that the producer has been forced to respond, telling the Tifa-loving masses that he fully appreciates their adoration, but that Tekken 8’s guest roster is still being determined.

Final Fantasy 14 is giving all players a free Fantasia during Dawntrail to help them adapt to the new graphics update coming in the expansion. While the exact details are still being worked out, all Final Fantasy 14 fans can expect to get one of these cash shop items for free later this year.
