Bandai Namco has revealed the worldwide release timings for Tekken 8, which is available to pre-load today, January 24th, from 3 PM PST onwards. The eagerly awaited fighter goes live on January 25th, 3 PM PT, with other parts of the world getting it as late as January 26th, noon NZDT.
Digital editions and online features will also be available at those times, so players can jump into multiplayer as soon as the game is live. As a direct sequel to Tekken 7, Tekken 8 follows Jin Kazama and his allies to stop Kazuya Mishima and his mission to rewrite the world. Jin must also contend with his Devil powers, though they make for a fun playable character (check out his moves here).
Tekken 8 will also be available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out our review, where we awarded it a 9 out of 10 for its visual presentation, incredible gameplay and mechanics, solid story-telling (despite some pacing issues) and fun roster.
