Although 's story is a continuation of Rocksteady's Arkhamverse, several plot points open the door to an extended DC Multiverse. The main campaign follows A.R.G.U.S. and Task Force X as they are deployed into Metropolis in the midst of an alien invasion led by Brainiac. In this time, Brainiac has captured and brainwashed 99% of Metropolis' citizens, including the majority of the Justice League, creating plenty of additional enemies for Task Force X to overcome on their mission to stop Brainiac's plans to terraform Earth and to create a New Colu.
Colu was home to the most intelligent race in the universe. In the Arkhamverse, this planet has been destroyed, and Brainiac is determined to rebuild the advanced civilization he has lost at any cost.
[Warning: The following article contains major spoilers for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League]This mission seems straightforward initially, as Amanda Waller puts out a kill order on the Justice League and Brainiac, and it seems like Task Force X's only challenge will be overcoming some of the DC Universe's most powerful heroes. However, it soon becomes clear that the scale of this assignment is far larger than it initially seemed when the multiverse is established soon after killing Flash. Task Force X is teleported to another dimension referred to as «Earth 2» in the game. Here, they find a world already decimated by Brainiac, where they find a surviving Lex Luthor. As the Luthor of Task Force X's main universe — which is deemed «Earth 1» — has been killed, they bring him back to their universe to assist them with their mission and refer to him as «Lex-2».
After successfully killing the Justice League, Brainiac teleports Task Force X aboard his giant Skull ship to meet them face-to-face for the first time. Alongside detailing his plans to create a New Colu, he also tells the team what an asset they could be if they submitted and agreed to fight alongside him. It then becomes clear that Brainiac's ambition is far greater than terraforming one world, and that he has wider plans to conquer the multiverse.
Task Force X is teleported out of this situation by Lex-2, and explains that there are 13 Brainiacs all connected via a network across various dimensions. While they're unable to kill the one on their Earth at present, Task Force X do find a way to travel to Earth 2 and capture the Brainiac there, enabling Amanda Waller to kill him with a Dataspike developed by Luthor, which also downloads a fragmented branch of Brainiac's network through Coluan technology destroys part of Brainiac's Skull ship in the process.
It's then explained how 's endgame will unfold, with the team sent to face the remaining 12 Brainiacs across other dimensions known as «Elseworlds.»

A new lawsuit sees many PlayStation players demanding cash payouts from Sony, and the company will now need to defend itself in court after the case was accepted. If the lawsuit is successful, these players could be owed up to £562 (approximately $711) depending on how much PlayStation content they've purchased since August 2016. A main reason for this is the pricing of modern gaming. In recent years, the price of games has increased significantly, with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X generation seeing the standard edition of AAA titles releasing at approximately $70, with companies citing far greater development budgets as the main reason.
The ritual palace chamber where the ancient vampire Cazador plans to sacrifice victims of the city in can only be reached when you open a locked Sinister Door. Getting to the final area of this Act 3 dungeon is extremely important for Astarion's questline. Only by collecting two other items in the palace will you be able to unlock the boss battle found deep within this dungeon.
The next phase of Dawn of DC has been announced and, if you've been paying attention to recent developments in the comics then it should come as no surprise who the main antagonist is: Amanda Waller.
Upon first impressions, I argued that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a monotonous, uninspired ordeal. The introduction to Metropolis drags along, only to feel worse thanks to messy presentation and unintuitive mechanics, though I admit the latter may be a product of my own faults. Those early thoughts still stand, as Kill the Justice League doesn’t offer an enticing first few hours. Eventually, some of those pieces improve. Others, not so much.

The title was revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live in 2022 with a cinematic trailer that demonstrated the game's zany, humorous tone and confirmed it would also be taking place in the 80s like its movie counterpart.
has been largely praised since its launch, with the sequel to the 2015 co-op shooter also attracting far more players than its predecessor. However, there is still one key area that's holding the game back as a whole, and it's partly caused by this unexpected popularity.
