Just over a week ago, I talked about how Starfield was getting a beating on Steam. From where I'm sitting, it's just a result of hype not meeting expectations. It's a decent game, it's just that 'decent' is a huge problem when we were all strapped in for the next big Bethesda RPG.

First reported by Rock Paper Shotgun, console players of older Assassin's Creed games like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla encountered Black Friday ad pop-ups for the latest entry, Assassin's Creed Mirage, while trying to access in-game menus. Ubisoft has since stated that the ads appeared due to a «technical error» and removed them.

Starfield lets spacefarers battles enemies with both guns and melee weapons, but it also allows players to bash their foes with their gun. And it appears not everyone knows about this, as inadvertently revealed by the YouTuber Causal Loop, who  completed the game's main using only the butt of his weapon.
