South Park: Snow Day Is A 3D Four-Player Co-Op Game Arriving In 2024

It’s the first day of Armored Core 6, and players are diving into the game, excited to return to a franchise that has been on hold for the better part of a decade by FromSoftware. Now that they have their hands on it, there’s a heated discussion about whether the game is too difficult or on par with the expected challenge that comes with a FromSoftware title.

With a game like Pokemon Sleep it’s hard to imagine how in the world an app would manage to do special events focused on, well, sleeping! Fortunately our very first event is here and the details on how it’ll all function seem as straight forward as ever. This was originally toted as a full moon event that would be available on this month’s full moon on August 31 and fortunately we know that this will be the case but will also run on both August 30 and September 1 as well. This event focuses on the full moon powering up our sleeping Snorlax companion even more than usual and will offer not only extra power for them but also additional sleep points and experience as well! There are some very important details to keep in mind as to how this event will be run, especially for those who have particular ways they play Pokemon Sleep.

Payday 3 is shaping up to be another fantastic heist game in the mold set by the series, but there’s a new challenger in the wings – and it’s somewhat of an inside job. EA has officially announced NHL 24 to the world and has revealed its cover athlete. There will be two versions of the game, both a standard edition and an X-Factor Edition as both will have separate covers. This year, the series has dubbed Cale Makar, the defenseman of the Colorado Avalanche, to be the cover star for this year’s title. He will be the fifth defenseman to grace the cover of the game joining P.K. Subban, Dion Phaneuf, Chris Pronger and Scott Stevens. Subban was the last defenseman to make the cover back in 2019, and he is the first Colorado Avalanche player to make the cover since Peter Forsberg back in 1998.

Genshin Impact 4.0 is just around the corner and you can now download the pre-installation via the game’s official launcher. The latest version of the open-world RPG is due to be released worldwide on August 16.

Long-running animated series South Park has been blessed with two surprisingly good RPGs, the Stick Of Truth and the Fractured But Whole, which both accurately recreated the TV show's art style. The newly announced South Park: Snow Day is taking a different approach, rendering Cartman and its world in 3D for a four-player co-op action game. A teaser at the end of the 2022 THQ Nordic Digital Showcase hinted a new South Park game was coming. Naturally, it was assumed that it would be the next installment in the popular South Park RPG series. However, it appears that won’t be the case.

THQ Nordic's annual digital showcase has been and gone for another year, and while there were plenty of familiar faces returning from 2022's outing, it did bring a couple of new reveals. The publisher's South Park game finally got a proper unveiling in the form of Snow Day, for instance, and was followed by announcements for the likes of Titan Quest 2 and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin.
