Silent Hill 2 Remake’s Steam TGS Banner Might be Hinting at an Imminent Update

File this one under 'Sh*t We Love to See': the man behind Kazuma Kiryu's Japanese voice got up on stage at Tokyo Game Show and performed a live cover of Baka Mitai. Takaya Kuroda, who's been voicing Kiryu since the PS2 days of Yakuza, put in a belter of a performance which appeared to have just about everyone up on their feet and singing along.

Escape from Tarkov is a game that makes you feel amazing if you win, and awful if you lose. You're likely to feel terrible again and again if you play it, but the thrill when everything goes right makes up for all of that. Valve has said that it wants to make a Steam Deck 2 but doesn't see it launching «in the next couple of years».

While the Steam Deck has set the trend for portable PC-style gaming handhelds, there is some stiff competition aiming to make waves. Silent Hill fans have waited for what felt like an eternity to get their hands on another game. Konami, for a long time, had put this IP into dormancy. The last big push to see a video game released came from Hideo Kojima, where he assembled a team to work on a new project for the franchise. That project, dubbed Silent Hills, was eventually scrapped when Kojima split from Konami. Fortunately, it wasn’t too long ago that Konami revealed that they were reviving this IP in a major way. Several video games are in the works, including a remake for one of the biggest installments of the IP, Silent Hill 2.

The Silent Hill 2 remake may be shown again very soon, judging from some recent findings discovered by fans on Steam.
