The Strangers is getting a trilogy of new movies from the director of Die Hard 2

The creepy home invasion horror movie The Strangers has become a bit of a cult classic since its release in 2008. While the series did garner a 2018 sequel, The Strangers: Prey By Night, it never quite spawned the franchise you might expect from a hit horror movie. But director Renny Harlin (Die Hard 2, Exorcist: The Beginning) and Lionsgate are here to fix that with a trilogy of new Strangers movies inspired by the originals.

Elon Musk’s X gets a new feature; Users can block replies from unverified accounts

X (formerly Twitter) has now added a new feature, which is being deemed controversial by a section of the users. The Elon Musk-owned social media platform now lets users restrict the replies to a post to only those who are verified by X, meaning they have the $7.99 monthly subscription. At the moment, X has not made it the default option, and ‘everyone can reply' is still set as default unless the user changes it. Some users are calling this feature a ‘paywall' to reply to posts, something which is considered a basic feature for social media platforms.

Gears 6 Apparently Has The Original Director Excited

The Gears of War franchise was a massive one for the Microsoft team. Initially developed under Epic Games, the third-person action FPS had players fighting for humanity’s survival. We have seen a few installments released under the Gears of War banner, now known only as Gears. Meanwhile, there were a few spinoff titles, but for a little while now, the IP has been dormant. We don’t know what exactly is next for the franchise, but apparently, there is one individual who is starting to praise the future of this franchise. That person is none other than the original director behind Gears of War, Cliff Bleszinski.
