Sifu's Superb Support Ends as Final Update Arrives on PS5, PS4 | Push Square

Megaton Musashi: Wired is an updated version of Megaton Musashi, a mecha action RPG released in Japan on PS5 and PS4, developed by LEVEL-5. Wired will be the first opportunity for overseas markets to get their hands on the title, which comes with additional content. We got a new trailer showing off some explosive, mechanized action.

Sand Land is an upcoming PS5 and PS4 RPG published by Bandai Namco and developed by ILCA (I Love Computer Art), which is how you know we're in good hands. Previous efforts include excellent turn-based titles like Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age and One Piece Odyssey, which has been eschewed here for something more action-based.

Niche fighting game sequel Under Night In-Birth 2 [Sys:Celes] has been given a set release date, and given how insanely busy early 2024 already is, the reveal doesn't make for pleasant reading. Previously pencilled in for a vague 'Q1 2024', In-Birth 2's dropping on the 25th January.

In sad news for fans of legendary characters, Square Enix has confirmed to IGN what was likely always going to be the case: that everyone's favourite edgy gunslinger will be an AI companion in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and not fully playable, just like Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII Remake. The same goes for the chain-smoking pilot, Cid, who remains elusive, hard to define, and thus highly cool.

Unfortunately, a fairly common issue with controllers these days is stick drift, whereby one or both analogue sticks act as though you're holding them in a direction when you're not. The DualSense is no stranger to this fault (we've had it happen at Push Square Towers), but it looks like Nacon is attempting to make stick drift a thing of the past with its latest pad.

Paleo Pines is a cute and quirky farming sim, eschewing traditionally warm-blooded livestock in favour of cold-blooded dinosaurs. It could be a refreshing change of pace (or a tragedy waiting to happen), and it's out today on PS5 and PS4.

A playable demo for upcoming action RPG Sword Art Online: Last Recollection is out now PlayStation platforms. It's a very reasonable 7GB on PS5, and 8.4GB on PS4, giving you access to the game's first chapter. You can also carry over your progress to the full release, which is always nice.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Dragon's Crown developer Vanillaware has announced its next game is a stunning tactical RPG that goes by the name of Unicorn Overlord. It's coming to PS5 and PS4 on 8th March 2024, and you can check out the announcement trailer above.

NIS America has released a playable demo for upcoming strategy RPG Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless. You can download it right now on PS5 and PS4, and the progress that you make can be carried over to the full game when it launches next month, on the 3rd October in North America, and the 6th October in Europe.

Last year, publisher Playtonic Friends and developer MegaWobble introduced the world to Lil Gator Game, a small, cutesy action adventure that captured hearts on PC and Switch. With the new NFL season getting underway this week, EA Sports really wants you to give Madden NFL 24 a chance. In fact, the juggernaut publisher has made the unprecedented move to give the game a free weekend – less than a month after its launch. Starting now through 10th September, you can play the entire title for free, with no limitations or restrictions.
