Savescumming has returned to Freelancer mode in Hitman: World Of Assassination

When Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched earlier this year, the action-adventure sequel was praised widely by critics and audiences for everything from its storytelling and characters to its combat and exploration. On the technical side of things, however, the game was on the receiving end of some criticism, with its performance on consoles being one of several areas that weren’t up to scratch. Developer Respawn Entertainment has, of course, continued to release patches for the game in the wake of its launch to address many of those issues, and the newest patch, patch 7, targets performance on consoles above all else.

When the Ayaneo Kun was first revealed, it was the trackpads that initially drew me to it, but just ahead of the Indiegogo campaign launch tomorrow, September 5, it's the extreme gaming mode that's catching my eye.

Naturellement, the painting is stolen from an apparently locked room under everyone's silly noses, and thus begins Poirot and Hastings' first puzzle caper together (for who else is our insurance representative?).

Before we begin, I'd like to make it clear I have nothing against Call of Duty players. For the most part. However, the period during which I was all in on the series is one I look back on with frustration. For a chunk of my gaming life, I played nothing but FIFA and Call of Duty, and I'm still catching up with some of the fantastic games I missed all these years later.

IO Interactive has released a new update for Hitman: The World of Assassination. This update covers a large variety of issues, including that surprising «death wall» bug found on Hitman 2's Isle of Sgail.

Thank you, PS4 players, but we'll take it from here. Hitman: World of Assassination (née Hitman 3) has gotten its August patch, and it's bringing back some, well, pretty unfamiliar faces, actually. Alongside the usual bevy of updates, tweaks, removals and enhancements, it's also accompanied by a couple of new pieces of DLC. 

Baldur’s Gate 3 players are asking the developers for a preview option when using clothing dye, as they’re resorting to savescumming to see what items look like before committing to a choice. After all, this is a fantasy game, and you don’t want to save the world in mismatched colors.
