New World, Amazon’s MMORPG, is getting its first major expansion in the form of Rise of the Angry Earth. The expansion will add a new story to New World, increase the level cap to 65, and introduce mounts too. There will also be a new weapon type and a new rarity level for gear too. New World: Rise of the Angry Earth will launch on October 3rd, and will be priced at $29.99. In the new story expansion the region of First Light has fallen, with the location having been ravaged and become unrecognisable. Within this upturned area roam Beast Lords, a new enemy to face off against them, In addition though, comes the ability to tame and ride animals too. Those mounts will include horses, dire wolves, and lions, and the can all be summoned to your side. A Riding Trade Skill will be added too which can be levelled up to increase attributes like speed for your mount. Mounts will also be customisable with equipment.
In terms of levelling up, the base character level cap will be increased to 65 as part of the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion, while the Gear Score limit will go up to 700. Trade Skill levels will have a new level cap of 250. There is a also going to be a new faction quest that will unlock a new faction tier too. Artifacts are a new gear rarity level, a mix of powerful weapons and armour that can have six perks unlocked. The new weapon type available as part of the expansion is the flail. The new expedition, Savage Divide, is level 62+ mission in which players will face off against Beast Lords.
Alongside the release of New World: Rise of the Angry Earth will be the release of Season 3. In Season 3, a new season pass will be added. Alongside this, the main quests of the storyline have been revamped following player feedback, providing a new experience for new and veteran players. Creature Bane Perks, Creature Ward Perks, Resilience Perks, and Expertise are all being removed from the game. In a blog post, it was stated the following changes would be made.
As we come into autumn, seasonal events will continue to take place with both Turkey Terror and Nightveil Hallow confirmed.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has been a standout title this year and continues to be enjoyed by players doing new playthroughs or jumping on the bandwagon and experiencing it for the first time.
